Chapter 283 - Revenge 284: Im The Only One Who Is Allowed To Kill That Idiotic Husband Of Mine (1/2)

”That's, uh, lot of curse words in just one breathing, Auntie Claire,” Arion said nervously. In their group of friends, they know that the moment Claire started to say curse words consecutive times it means that she is extremely angry, and that means, they should stay away from her until she calms herself.

Claire gave Arion a piercing glare and said, ”What? Do you expect me to say nice things when you and my husband did something like that?” In Claire's point of view, her reaction is only natural. Anyone will get angry when someone leaves without a word or that someone pretends to be dead for all these years.

Those kinds of people don't know the pain they are giving to the people they are leaving behind. The people they left behind were left in question and despair. They all thought that they have lost someone they care about.

Claire is sure that Mary feels the same way when her husband disappeared without a word. She is also sure that Mary has a lot of questions, but Mary can't say those questions out loud since the only person who is able to answer those questions is absent.

After sighing in defeat, Arion spoke, ”I have no excuse.” Arion already expected this much reaction from Claire, and he is not here to defend himself. He knows what he did was stupid, but he did not regret it because if he had not gone through it, his children will be in the same position as Mary were back then.

Mary's parents almost got their hands on the twins, and thankfully Arion was able to block them off by destroying one of their important bases around the globe.

”The old man,” Leonardo started. ”Is he still alive? After all that beating he took from them, I'm wondering if he survived all of it.” Leonardo asked sarcastically. Right now, Leonardo does not care if Harrison is dead or alive because he had enough of those people who hurt his best friend.

”Well, unfortunately for you, he is still alive.” Truthfully said, Arion is somewhat surprised that Harrison is still alive. He really thought that Harrison will only survive for only two years, but obviously he thought wrong.

Also, because of Harrison's great endurance on surviving that hell place, Arion is able to gather all information that needed to destroy everything that those shameless people needed to build what they need to build.

”So, what do you need me for?” Claire asked curiously. Arion and Harrison have been doing this problem on their own without anyone's help or knowledge, and for Arion to call her and Leonardo here makes her wonder, what is Arion's purpose.

”I know it's late, but I need help.” As Arion said this, he showed an awkward smile, and he is praying inside that they will help him.

”Help? Since you've been working on this problem for many years now, I thought you never need any help from us?” It is obvious from Leonardo's tone of voice that he doesn't have any plan on helping Arion. His extreme anger won't let him help whatever Arion wanted his help for.

”Look, Leonardo, I know you're angry, and I understand, but I am in a hurry to save that old man's ass!” For all these years, the people who held Harrison captive has been trying to force Harrison to speak important pieces of information. Harrison didn't say a single word, and now, he is in trouble. Harrison will be killed. Arion doesn't know when will it happen, that is why he is in a rush and asking for Claire and Leonardo's help.

Of course, Harrison is not the only reason he is in a rush. His twins are planning to pair his wife to another man, and it's not just any man, it's his rival. His wife might fall for that guy, and he is worry that if he doesn't show up soon, his position in Mary's heart will be at the very bottom.

”They're gonna kill him? Heh. I'm not gonna let them do that. I'm the only one who is allowed to kill that idiotic husband of mine.” Claire declared. ”What do you need, Arion?”
