Chapter 277 - Revenge 278: Offended (1/2)

”Did you hear that, brother? Uncle said that his daughter is better than us.” Anna said as she held back her laughter from bursting out.

For the whole day, Anna was in a very bad mood, but when she heard what her uncle James just said, her mood changed.

”I feel offended,” Aaron said in an irritated tone. His uncle James dared to compare him and his sister to Sharon? That is the most offensive comment that Aaron heard in his entire life. He does not want to brag, but he and his sister are smarter and better than Sharon.

He may be too lazy to keep his head up when the teacher is teaching the class, but he sure is listening to everything that the teachers said. And he is able to answer every question that they throw at him. As for Sharon? Sharon can't even get an average score in her test, and that is the fact that Aaron and Anna know because they go to the same school and they hear words from every corner of the school.

”Geez. Where did our uncle James get his confidence about his daughter? Has he seen his daughter's grades?” Anna does not want to discriminate against her cousin's intelligence, however, her uncle James just said that Sharon is much better than her brother. And that doesn't ring in a good tone in her ears. Comparing her brother to Sharon is very insulting even for Anna.

”I guess not. After all, that mother and daughter pair does not want to get a big scolding from uncle James.” Aaron once overheard his uncle James' wife talking to someone over the phone to change the numbers on Sharon's grades. The only conclusion that Aaron can come up with is that the mother and daughter pair wants to deceive his uncle James.

”You know, even though I dislike uncle James now, I kind of feel bad for him,” Anna admits that her uncle James is very intelligent, and she feels bad for him because Sharon did not inherit her uncle James' intelligence. Sharon is like her mother, who only use tricks to climb up the ladder. Planning and anything that requires deep thinking is what Sharon and Gloria does.

”Same. I just don't know why Sharon is not as cunning as uncle James is.” Aaron hates cunning people, but he does compliment their way of thinking. Sharon and her mother do things that they think could help them without taking any precautions.

Aaron remembered what he heard from the maids years ago. He heard that Gloria was in love with James' wealth that she climbed on James' bed, and made sure that she will get pregnant because she knows that the Coleman family will take responsibility in everything that they do.

Aaron is not sure if it's true or not, but it also seems to him that a high chance of it being true is high. After all, Aaron could see in Gloria's eyes that she is afraid of going back to the life she had before.

”Please, I'm just glad that Sharon is like that or else it is not just uncle James we should be cautious of.” Anna wouldn't even wish for Sharon to be like her uncle James. Sharon is already is annoying as she is now, what's more, if she were as cunning as her uncle James?
