Chapter 264 - Revenge 265: An Enemy Who is Difficult to Handle (1/2)
”Arion! Where is the bastard who did this to the old man!” Leonardo angrily asked as soon as he arrived at the place Arion is currently at.
”That's the first thing you want to ask? You're not gonna ask me if that video is the truth or not?” Arion asked as he nonchalantly sips his drink. He already expected Leonardo to barge in his place with an angry expression.
”Arion, what do you take me for? I am not a fool! I know damn well that the video you sent me is real!” Leonardo doesn't need to go all the trouble to make sure that the video is the truth or not because he knows that this matter is something Arion should not joke around for.
”Then there is nothing else I need to prove to you?” Arion wanted to make sure that Leonardo won't make him do any more unnecessary things. He needs Leonardo to be on his side as quickly as possible or else that person on the video will be harder to find next time.
”Who is responsible for all this?” Leonardo asked.
”Lance.”
”Lance? Rolfe Lance? That man?!” Just hearing that man's name is making his blood boil in anger. He thought that Rolfe has stopped chasing after Mary, but now, he guesses that he had thought it wrong. He and Mary did quite a satisfactory punishment on that man, but it seems to him that Rolfe did not learn his lesson and even went this far just to get Mary's attention.
”Yes. That man.” Arion nonchalantly. The way that Arion responds to him, it seems that Arion does not care about the man on the video. With that thinking, a question popped into his mind: how did Arion get a hold of that video?
Leonardo gave Arion a piercing glare, ”You knew this all along and you did nothing? Arion, once Mary finds out about this, then you better pray that Mary won't divorce you!” In the group, Leonardo is the one who speaks less, but right now, he is not that person. Just like what other people say, silent people are scary when they are angry.
Leonardo knows that between Arion and Rolfe, Arion would win. But how is it possible that Arion did nothing to stop this madness? Arion is powerful enough to step on Rolfe like a squashed ant. The only reason that Leonardo can think of is that Arion has no plans to do anything at all. But then again, why did Arion contacted him?
”Leo, I could instantly remove that bastard on this planet without breaking a sweat, but someone else is in the picture. And I am pretty sure that you already saw that someone.” Arion threw a picture of someone on the table.
Leonardo takes a look at it and his face showed disgust and hatred. ”This doesn't explain anything. Johan maybe a scheming bastard, but compared to you, he is nothing like Rolfe. You can easily squash him.”
If Rolfe and Johan are working together, then it would make sense where Johan got the money to give to the woman who killed the mother of Alfonso's child. Even so, it doesn't make any sense if this is the reason why Arion did not do anything towards Rolfe and Johan.
”Johan is very cunning, he made all of us think that he died on that day. But during the years of thinking that he is already dead, he is slowly growing power. And by power, I mean that he is at par with all of us combined.” In a short version, Johan had become an enemy who is difficult to handle.
Johan suddenly appeared not too long ago, and questions have been flooding the group's minds. They have been trying to figure out why Johan decided to show his face recently after all these years. If growing his power was his reason and plotting revenge, then everything makes sense.
”I will have to report this to Mary,” Leonardo said.
”Don't tell her yet.” Arion immediately disagrees with Leonardo's decision. He can't have Leonardo reporting everything to Mary when it will only destroy the plan.
