Chapter 261 - Revenge 262: I Would Never Cheat On Her! (1/2)
”You wouldn't fool around,” Leonardo replied. No matter how much he hates Arion right now, he knew that the number one thing that Arion really care for is family.
Risking the life of his family is the least thing Arion would like to do. ”So, do you believe me now?” Arion can't have Leonardo kept on doubting and gets angry at him at the same time. He needs Leonardo to make his plan work. His long-time plan should be on the move now that someone has shown itself as a threat.
”I believe that you care for your family, but what you said earlier is something impossible for me to believe.” When he first heard what Arion has been doing all these years, Leonardo finds it hard to believe.
”Come on Leo! I am being serious here! Can't we just get on the same page for once?!” From the moment he met Leonardo, they have never been on the same page. The only person Leonardo listened to is Mary and Crona; Leonardo won't listen to anyone other than them.
Sighing, Leonardo spoke, ”Let's say I'm believing every word that you said...” As Leonardo is saying this he looks at Arion in the eye, ”Out of all the people that you've known, why did you contact me and not Mary?”
As Arion was thinking earlier, Leonardo knows that he and Arion never been on the same page, and it seems that they will never be on the same page. It makes Leonardo wonder why did Arion contacted him first when Arion already knew that he will doubt him.
”First of all, Mary is not going to be involved in this until the plan works, and secondly, even though our relationship is not good, you are the only person who I can trust with this matter.” Zack and Mike can be reliable in any situation, but in this particular case, Leonardo is the only one Arion can work along with.
Leonardo was about to reply back to Arion, but a cure little sneeze was heard in the room. Looking at the direction where it came from, Leonardo frowns when he saw the young lad who is with Arion. Because of his anger with Arion, he had forgotten about that little lad.
”Please tell me that this kid is not your child and you were not cheating on Mary—”
”Leo! Seriously?! Can't you at least trust my love for Mary? I would never cheat on her!” Arion felt really offended that Leonardo can't even trust him on his love for Mary.
Arion at Leon and gave the little lad a glare. It is because of Leon that Leonardo accused him of cheating on Mary. If Leo had not played the role of being his son as part of their disguise, then Leonardo won't be accusing him of something so ridiculous. But then again, he also played along with Leon, so in the end, he and Leon are at fault for making Leonardo think that way.
Seeing the reaction that Arion is making right now, Leonardo sees that Arion is telling him the truth. For a moment, Leonardo felt that he wanted to beat the hell out of Arion. But thankfully he won't have to do such tiring thing.
”You better not be cheating on her,” Leonardo said in a warning tone. Although Leonardo already believed that Arion is not cheating on Mary, he still has to make Arion take note that if he ever cheats on Mary, there will be a grave consequence that he will have to face.
In the midst of warning, Arion about cheating on Mary, a burst of sudden laughter was heard in the room. Both Leonardo and Arion glared at the owner of that laughter.
