Chapter 251 - Revenge 252: The Love That She Had Lost (1/2)

When the old lady returns to get their order, Anna and Kyle told her what they want. As the old lady is writing down what they want, she frowns, somehow she felt that something is missing from the orders they want.

Kyle noticed it, and he could not help but grin at Anna. He can't help but admire Anna more, she is too kind-hearted. Knowing that the old lady will be the one serving them, Anna purposely ordered one cake and one drink. She held back her appetite just make it easier for the old lady to bring their order on the table.

The old lady glanced at Kyle, and when she saw the grin on his face, she knew immediately that the girl in front of this young man is holding back.

With a faint smile, the old lady spoke, ”Young lady, are you sure this is all that you want to order?” Anna nodded her head hesitatingly. The old lady did not believe that this is all that Anna wants. ”Are you sure about that?”

”Yes. Why wouldn't I be?” Anna is trying her best to sound more convincing, she doesn't the old lady to know that she wanted more than just one cake. If she is going to tell the old lady that, then she would help the old lady bring the cakes and drinks on the table, but Anna can tell that the old lady will not allow her to help.

Before replying to Anna, the old lady sighed, ”Young lady, if you think that I will bring you your orders by myself then you are. I am not that stupid to let myself do all those liftings, so feel free to order whatever you want.”

This girl in front of her is too kind-hearted, and the old lady likes it very much. Somehow, this girl reminds her of someone she knew in the past. She wondered if that person is living happily and well.

Up until now, the old lady does not have the courage to contact that person because of some personal issues. The old lady does not hate that person or anything, it's just that every time the old lady sees that person's face, it always reminds her of the love that she had lost.

The old lady waited for Anna to tell her what else she wants, but Anna stayed silent. Anna is firmly going against her usual appetite. Fortunately, the companion she is with is not on the same page as her.

In a gentle manner, Kyle spoke every cake that Anna likes, and the old lady listed everything that he said. The old lady can tell that Kyle likes Anna very much and that he takes care of Anna very well. In the old lady's point of view, both Anna and Kyle are a perfect couple that almost everyone is envious of.

After the old lady left, Anna spoke with her voice slightly raised, ”Why did you add more?” She knows very well that the extra cakes that Kyle ordered are not for him, but for her. It's not like she is complaining about it, but she somehow does not like the fact that the old lady knows about he big appetite

Anna felt embarrassed and at the same time feels guilty for the old lady preparing all the goods for them. Anna does not know whether she should laugh or cry at the situation she is right now.
