Chapter 239 - Revenge 240: Thanks To You (1/2)

At the Robertson mansion, Lannie finally arrived, and there is a hint of annoyance plastered on her face. The first thing she did is to look for her brother. Walking around the mansion, she finally found him in the mansion's mini-library.

”What took you so long?!” She asked her brother as soon as she got inside. She is quite in disbelief to see her brother fiddling on his tech instead of greeting her. 'Seriously? Fiddling on your computer again, brother?'

For almost every day, Lannie felt that she always sees her brother fiddling on his laptop. Sometimes, she wonders if she and her brother had a decent conversation these past few days.

Taking off his glasses, Kyle glances at Lannie, and responded to her with a question, ”What do you mean, little sister?”

”Don't act as if you know nothing!” Feeling upset with her brother, Lannie took his computer away, then places it somewhere he can't reach in his current position. ”You are not getting your computer back until you give a reasonable explanation!”

With his left brow up, Kyle responds to Lannie in a calm tone, ”Lannie, be clear with your question. How do you expect me to answer your question if I don't know what you expect me to answer.”

Not wanting to scream at her brother, Lannie took her time on breathing in and out, trying to calm herself down. ”Do you know how scary it is trying not to make Aaron go in rage? I was with him for the whole day in the mall, and he did not like it. I was waiting for your message so I can be free from Aaron, so I am asking again, what took you so long?”

”Dear sister of mine, are you trying to joke with me?” Kyle said as if he is trying to suppress that laughter inside him. ”Earlier, you said that I should spend time with Anna without any interference from anyone. You are the one who suggested to take away Aaron so I can do that. Thanks to you, I have achieved my goal for today.”

Kyle sees no reason for his little sister to get angry at him because what happened today is all because of his sister's suggestion. He merely accepted that suggestion, besides Kyle sees no injuries on Lannie's body, so he is not worried about what happened to her.

Lannie purses her lips, unable to say something back to her big brother. Her brother is correct. What happened today was all her idea, and she has no one to blame but herself. But her mind kept telling her that it is unfair to own everything to herself.

”Can't say anything? That's because I did not force you to do it.” Kyle said, trying to rub it on Lannie. The more he rubs it on her, the more he knows that it will only upset her, and as her big brother, it is his job to make his little sister a little bit upset, at least once a day.

”That maid did what to you?” Aaron's raging voice was loud and heard by almost everyone in the mansion. ”I am gonna kill that b*tch!”

”Aaron! We are in front of the food, watch that mouth of yours!” Mary said in an angry tone. Though she is also angry at the maid who harmed her daughter, cursing at the table where there is food is not a good thing.
