”I-is this real?” Marcus asked with a hint of hesitation in his voice. He is having a hard time believing every word that is said to the video Kyle showed him.

”Mr. Coleman, you know my reason for this, so why would I lie about this?” Kyle expected this much hesitation from Marcus Coleman, and he is glad that he did not react as if he did not want to know the whole truth.

”T-true.” Marcus stuttered. This is the first time that he stuttered to someone else other than his dead wife. He is still on the brink of processing everything in his mind. ”At this age, this is too much for me to handle. All this time I—”

”You thought that they killed each other by will? Or they killed each other because of the hatred they both have towards one another? Which one is it?” Every word that Kyle releases were firm and with a hint of mockery at Marcus' incompetence.

Kyle knows that he should not treat his elders like that, but he can't help it; Marcus Coleman has the ability to solve this in just a day, but he decided not to do so because he is in pain. However, how can he even relief that pain when he doesn't even want to face it?

Marcus that mockery in Kyle's words, but he let it slide because right now, he feels ashamed of himself. He was blind, really blinded by the anger he has for all these years. Now the truth is finally out, he is having a hard time sinking it in.

He glances at the young man in front of him and was amazed by how capable he is. Compared to Juan, Juan is nothing. Like he is blinded by his anger, he also blinds by how sincere Juan's act is.

He wonders why did he fall for such an act Juan is portraying in front of him. But even if he wants to imagine that he did not fall for Juan's act, it won't change anything because it has already happened; it won't change anything.

Taking a deep breath, Marcus calms himself down and looks at Kyle with seriousness hinted in his eyes. ”Have you already showed this to your grandfather?” Even if Marcus allows Kyle to pursue his granddaughter, he thinks it would be impossible if Elijah Robertson is getting in the way. Right now, all that Kyle needs is his grandfather's approval to freely pursue Anna.

Marcus is afraid that if Kyle were to not have his grandfather's approval, there is a big possibility that Kyle might get kicked out of the Robertson family. It would such a waste for the Robertson family to kick out such outstanding young men like Kyle.

Even if Kyle were kicked out of the Robertson family, Marcus is sure that Kyle can make with or without the Robertson. He got the feeling that Kyle might even exceed the achievements of the Robertsons in just a few years. That is how great Kyle is from Marcus' perspective.
