Chapter 222 - Revenge 222: Should I Help Him Or Not (1/2)
Early in the afternoon, Kyle and Erik arrived at the place where two bodies were found dead. Kyle looks around and somehow felt cold just by looking at the decorations in the house.
It's clear that this house has been abandoned for so many years now; all the stuff has been covered in dust. Kyle guesses that his grandfather and Anna's grandfather were in so much pain back then that they did not have the guts to pay a visit to this place. They have been trying to forget about that incident.
'They have been trying to forget that incident, and yet they couldn't even try to forget their unreasonable hatred for each other. How ridiculous.' Kyle inwardly commented.
”Wow. For some reason, I'm feeling pumped up just by this.” Erik excitedly said. One of the things that Erik likes that most are when there is a mystery that is needed to be solved, and this matter with the two old men are just what makes him so excited.
”Erik, can you just shut up?” Kyle coldly said to Erik, and this shut Erik up. As usual, Kyle is so cold-hearted to him. Even if that is the case, Erik still feels that Kyle cares for him; at least that is what he thinks.
”Geez. You don't have to be so cold.” Erik pouted and Kyle paid no more attention to him. He needs to complete this task and keep that guy named Leon away from Anna. He won't let anyone get near until he has made his move.
Currently, his position in Anna's heart is at the bottom of the list. 'Tsk! That sister of mine sure knows how to make me feel this way.' Kyle said inwardly. Ever since their dinner, Kyle has been thinking of a way to keep Leon to stay behind the line.
At the moment, Kyle is convinced that Leon has an intention to pursue Anna. If Leon were to know that Kyle is convinced that he is chasing after Anna, then Leon might actually cry because of this misunderstanding. Ever since the beginning of the pageant event, Leon felt that he has become a victim of something so unnecessary.
Kyle held the USB in his hand and they insert it to his laptop. After fiddling in his laptop, Kyle finally hit the play button.; he may not say it out loud, but Erik can notice the nervousness in his eyes. This is the first in ever that Erik has seen Kyle being like this.
Erik is amused by how much Kyle has changed ever since he realized his feeling for Anna. He wonders if he falls for someone like Kyle is in now, would he change too? Somehow Erik is expecting his destined one to come sooner.
Once the video started to play, the first thing they see is the face of Elijah's sister. Just like in the picture that Elijah showed them, Shine Robertson's unique beauty can't compare to any other woman in the world. But in Kyle's eyes, Anna is number one when it comes to beauty.

Half an hour has passed, Kyle and Erik watched the whole video that Shine Robertson hid in this abandoned house. It's hard for them to believe the real reason behind their death.
