”What do you mean by that?” Kyle asked.

Kyle knows that it's going to be hard to get blessings from Anna's grandfather and brother but he doesn't get why would Anna's grandfather doesn't want to accept him?

He is not some sc.u.mbag on the streets. He is a proper man and knows how to greet the elders, is he really not likable in Marcus Coleman's perspective?

”You don't need to know why I just want you to follow what I say and that is to stay away from Marcus Coleman's granddaughter.” As much as Elijah wants to tell Kyle why he is so against Kyle pursuing Anna he just can't because only pain and sadness overwhelm him whenever he speaks about that event.

After saying that Elijah left Kyle and Erik in the living and went to his room.

”I guess you and Anna are not fated to be, huh?” Erik shakes his head as if he is disappointed that it is impossible for Anna and Kyle to be together. He only said this in a joking manner but it doesn't seem Kyle find it very funny.

Hearing that statement from his friend, Kyle's mood turned sour. ”Say one more word about that and I'll make sure to cut your tongue.”

”Who's tongue are are you gonna cut?” A sweet tone voice was heard and it was Lannie who just came in with along with their parents. By the looks of it, they had a lot of fun shopping, 'That's a lot of bags.' Erik said in his mind.

”None of your business.” Kyle coldly said. He felt that today was his worst day yet. First, it was Erik who kept on pestering him; second, it was his grandfather who suddenly barges inside the villa and telling him to stay away from the woman he is planning to pursue; and thirdly, Erik again said something that really irritates him. 'Can this day get worse than it already is?'

”Kyle your sister was only asking a question, don't treat her like that.” Layla scolded Kyle and Kyle could only stay silent; he wouldn't dare talk back on his mother, the result will not end well if he does.

”I heard from the gardener outside that your grandfather is back, is it true?” Stan asked. When he heard it earlier he suddenly got a bad feeling from his father's sudden visit.

”Yeah, and I certainly wish that grandpa should go back overseas immediately.” Kyle mumble and everyone heard what he said loud and clear. Everyone suddenly got quiet and seconds later Erik was the only one who is laughing hard.

Kyle's parents and sister were quite confused about what is going on. They don't understand why would Kyle don't want his grandfather to be home; Kyle would rather hang out with his grandfather than with his own father.

”What is so funny, Erik?” Lannie asked as she frowns at Erik. So far she doesn't see or heard anything that is very funny, so how is it that Erik is the only one who's laughing?

”For a short moment between Kyle and grandpa Elijah, you guys sure missed a lot,” Erik said, still laughing. First, when he heard Kyle said those words he was shocked, truly shocked but then he suddenly thought of Anna. Looks like Anna is the reason why Kyle said those words, his friend truly has change.

”What did we missed? Did they had a fight?” Stand asked.
