Chapter 128 - Revenge 127: Stupid or What (1/2)

In a specific place, there was a woman who is shouting in pain. It was Elina if anyone sees her now they would have a hard time recognizing her. Her body was full of bruises caused by one of the people of Alfonso's men.

Alfonso wanted to do it himself, but his son suddenly got a fever, his work was loaded, and to add more he needs to find a new assistant. His days were so hectic that he did not have much time to torture Elina by his own hands.

But now everything is done, he has the time to pay a visit to Elina. When he entered the room where Elina is, she looked like a beggar in his sight. He walked in front of her.

Elina noticed someone was in front of her. She looked up and saw the person that she misses so much. She wants to stand up and run to him, but her body was in so much pain that she couldn't do so.

”Y-you're here...” There was a huge smile plastered on Elina's face. She was excited to see Alfonso in such a long time but Alfonso, on the other hand, did not feel the same. He only looked at her with full of hatred and disgust. He can't bear to look at her, but he has to be here to get some answers.

”Don't look at me like that. I am not here to help you get out of here.” His tone of voice was stone cold; it was very alarming to hear. Elina felt the hatred behind Alfonso's words; she couldn't understand why Alfonso feels that way towards her. ”I'm here to get some answers from you.” He added.

”A-answers?” Elina was slightly confused at what Alfonso just said. 'Answers? What kind of answers can I even give to him?'

”Yes. Answers. I want to know what you know about Johan.” The only person they know who interacted with Johan is Elina. To get some information that they wanted to perceive is to get Elina to speak everything that she knows.

”Johan? I, I don't know who that is.” Elina said. She was telling the truth, though the name does sound familiar she can't pinpoint who on earth Alfonso is talking about though.

The corner of Alfonso's lips twitched at Elina's answer. ”You don't know who Johan is?” He said as he bends down and tightly held Elina's jaw. ”Then tell me why in hell are you working with Johan to try and kill my son?”

Elina's eye opened wide when she heard him say that. The person who helped her is Johan? Yes, that is right. That was his name; she overheard that name at the day Pia died. Elina looked directly into Alfonso's eyes even though it was scary to look at him in the eye she still manages to do it.

She saw so much hatred in his eyes; she even wonders what did Johan do to Alfonso. Is it because they tried to kill that little pest? Why would Alfonso care so much to that little pest? Why can't he neglect that little pest and focus his whole attention towards her?

Thinking that all that she has done for Alfonso were bested singlehandedly by a little pest is making Elina angry. She swears that if ever she gets out of this place, Elina will surely finish what she started with or without anyone's help.

Alfonso looks at her and probably could guess what she is thinking. ”If you think that you can escape here, then you are wrong.” He said. ”This is the place where you die suffering. That is what you get from aligning yourself with Johan.”
