Chapter 81 - Revenge 80: Help Me (1/2)

Morning comes and everyone was in the dining room eating their breakfast. Alfonso and Pia were both looking at the young ones in the table with a curious look on their faces. Both Anna and Kyle kept on yawning every one minute.

”What did the two of you did last night?” Alfonso couldn't help but ask since Anna and Kyle look so tired and needs more sleep. It breaks his heart looking at his beautiful little NaNa looking so haggard and as for his nephew, he does not care even for a tiny bit of care.

”Homework/Stargazing.” Both Anna and Kyle said at the same time. Since Kyle and she are in front of each other it's unavoidable for them to meet each other's eyes. When their eyes met Anna was the first one to retreat and scoff.

”Uh-huh.” Alfonso said not believing their claims as he saw how Anna reacted when her eyes and Kyle's eyes met and he is quite suspicious of what happened to both of them without him knowing anything.

Alfonso wanted to ask another question but Anna suddenly stood up and said, ”I'm finished, thank you for the food. I'm going now, have a great day everyone.” She said like a robot reciting a line from a script. After saying that she said goodbye to Pia and Alexandre before leaving the house without even looking at Alfonso and Kyle.

Somewhat upset, Alfonso ask Kyle, ”What did you to her? My little NaNa usually would leave a peck on my cheeks.” Alfonso said in a weeping tone.

Kyle weirdly looked at his uncle; now this is the uncle that he knows, he's finally back. Yesterday and the day after that his uncle has been acting too serious that he couldn't help but obey him; afraid of getting on his bad side. Kyle looked at Alfonso with an obvious frown in his face, ”I did nothing to her...” Kyle did not have the guts to tell his uncle the truth because if he does he might be forced to do something he does not want to do.

Before Alfonso ask Kyle another question, Kyle did the same thing as Anna did earlier and left the house without looking back. ”Hmph! Tell me Pia is the generation today is that rude like my dear nephew?” He asked completely excluding Anna from his question.

Pia did not answer his question and just focus on eating the food in front of her. She is quite getting used to the luxury that Alfonso is providing her and it felt very uncomfortable for her. When she was still Alfonso's assistant she did not have this kind of things, yes, Alfonso did treat her well but it's not like this. She then looked at her son in her arms with a worried expression plastered on her face. With this kind of luxury Alfonso has she is kind of worried that her son might grow up spoiled but somehow Pia felt that Alfonso is not gonna their son to grow up like that.

Seeing that there was no response from Pia, Alfonso looked at her and saw that she was staring at Alexandre with a hint of warmth in her eyes. With such sight in front of him, Alfonso could do nothing but pray for a longer time for Pia to be with Alexandre and for Alexandre to have more memories about his mother.

On his way, Kyle is calling Lannie and this is his nth time trying to reach her but to no avail, Lannie is not answering her phone. But Kyle did not give up and tried and tried again until that sister of his answered his call. After a few more times of trying to reach Lannie, Lannie finally answered the call with an angry tone.
