Chapter 78 - Revenge 77: Deciding On Their Own (1/2)

”Is there a problem, Alfonso?” Layla asked her brother who's been sighing the whole time since the moment he got in the Robertson villa.

Alfonso looked at his sister and sighed again. Layla's left brow rose, Alfonso kept on sighing and sighing and it is getting on her nerves. Ever since she married Stan and become the head hostess of the Robertson family, Layla has become more patient than she ever was when she a young teen. But her brother is making her return to her old self if he is gonna continues this way and that wouldn't be too good for the both of them.

”If you sigh one more time, I'm gonna kick your ass out, brother. So if you don't want me to do that you better tell me what's bothering you.” Hearing her threat, Alfonso gulped down in fear from his sister. His sister might have changed since she married Stan but that doesn't mean that former her is gone. The former is her is only sleeping waiting for someone to disturb its sleep to wreak havoc like she used to.

Without any other choice, Alfonso told her every single detail that happened earlier.

”What are you doing here? And what's with the luggage?” Standing by the door looking at the person who just came with luggage by her side, he added, ”Did your mother kick you out or something, NaNa?”

”Nope, I came here on my own.” She said with a smile on her face while Alfonso is staring at her questionably. Seeing the look on his face Anna immediately explain her reason for coming to his house. ”My mother is going for a business trip, my brother is going for his first mission, and my grandpa is at the Coleman family vacation house, so basically I'm all alone at the villa and with that, I decided to stay here for a few days and before you ask I got permission from my mom, so there's no problem.”

Suddenly Alfonso felt a headache. Seriously, in some ways Anna sure do reminds him of how Mary acted back in their days. Like deciding on her own without even telling him in advance that is what made him reminded of how Mary was and up until now, that is still the case.

Before Alfonso could even say something, a woman's voice was heard inside. ”Alfonso, who are you talking to?” Suddenly the nerves in Alfonso suddenly tensed up and immediately look at Anna. But to his surprise, he saw a teasing smile in her face.

”Oh my... Uncle, I never thought that you're not the type of person that I've known.”

”Kid, don't spout such nonsense! I am still that type of a person!” This young one is truly like her mother sometimes, she knows how to agitate him like her mother. Looks like Alfonso has to do a much better job on keeping Anna from becoming like her mother, an annoying type of a person in his life; his friends are enough to annoy him he doesn't want to add another to his list.

”Geez! Uncle Fonso, so hot-headed. And is this how you treat your guest now? You're not gonna let me in?” Somehow Anna felt that she is being treated unfairly by her uncle Fonso. Ever since she got to know that her uncle Fonso got himself a son and he is now more focus on Alexandre; Alfonso is not spoiling Anna like he used to, Anna felt lonely without her uncle Fonso spoiling her. Can a person change he or she got a child? But then again, she can see that her uncle Fonso is about is he is beside Alexandre; if her uncle Fonso is happy then she is happy too.

Sighing, Alfonso said dispiritedly, ”Since you're already here, I guess no choice then.” Hearing those words coming from Alfonso, Anna happily walked past him and entered his humble home.
