Chapter 75 - Revenge 74: Im A Coleman Now (2/2)
”Sis, you're here,” Alfonso said in a low tone with a gentle smile on his face. As he gets near Layla he saw the disappointment in her face and he knows the reason for her to make that kind of face. He and Pia did it and he should've have known better that there is a chance for Pia to bloom a child in her stomach. After all, no matter what kind of a person he is, he knows very well that his body can produce a certain seed to make a child. ”You can scold me all you want later but for now, I want you to meet your nephew and its mother.”
Layla sighs in defeat, her brother was right she can scold him all she wants later because looking at Pia and the sleeping baby she will feel bad if she scolds him right here and now and make loud noises that will make the baby cry.
She walks slowly near Pia but as she strode towards Pia she saw in the corner of her eyes a certain figure which surprises her. Anna Coleman and her family, she wonders what are they doing here in Pia's ward. What kind of a relationship do they have with her brother?
Meanwhile, the other three figures did not entirely focus on Pia and the baby their line of sight mainly focused on Anna. 'What is she doing here?'
Seeing that his brother-in-law and nephew and niece were staring at Anna he spoke up his relationship with the Colemans to them. ”Oh sis, do you still remember my friend back in the old days, Mary Adams?”
Layla stopped her step when she heard that certain name. She immediately turns her body toward her brother's direction and looks at him with great confusion on her face. ”Mary Adams? That's Mary Coleman, not Adams.” In truth, she met Mary Adams years ago but every time they see each Mary Adams would always wear a mask and always had a voice change in her so it is hard for her to believe that Mary Coleman is the Adams that she knew. Even if their names are the same she would still won't believe it, after all, the Adams that she knew is reckless in all aspect while this woman in front of her is elegant and graceful in every move she makes. Both personas are far too different from each other! Mary Coleman cannot be Mary Adams.
”Geez Layla, how long has it been since the last time I saw you? You're still funny as ever. I am Adams. I married into the Coleman family that's why I'm Coleman now. Clear?” The way Mary just tease Layla is just the same how Adams teases her behind the mask.
Slowly, Layla is starting to believe that Adams and the woman in front of her is the same person ”You gotta be f-” Layla stopped herself from continuing her speech which made Mary wants to tease her more. Teasing Layla sure does brings back tons of memory in their youthful days.
Mary smirks at her and teasingly said, ”Stopping yourself eh? Gosh, come on, we both know how impulsive Layla Dreyar can be, right?” Back in their days when she and Alfonso still had their rivalry gang thing going on, the woman in front of her is very very impulsive and very vulgar too in those days. It is really surprising that she became so elegant and graceful now but the old Layla is still lingering inside her, sleeping waiting to be awakened.
”Oh, shut up woman. You just ruined my point of view on Mary Coleman.” Layla said aggressively. The people in the room except for Alfonso and Mary were all shock by how aggressive her tone is. It is totally different from the graceful and elegant Layla Robertson that they knew. But somehow Stan is kind of expecting this from his wife, after all, he knew her when she was still quite impulsive but it still shocked every time he sees wife act all aggressively and impulsive.
”Oh my, oh my, now that's the Layla Dreyar that I know well and love,” Mary said as she wickedly laughs wholeheartedly.
