Chapter 73 - Revenge 72: Alexandre Dreyar (1/2)

”I am so excited!” Anna said excitedly on the back seat of the car. She, Aaron and her mother are currently on their way to the hospital to see Alfonso's child.

Anna is currently curious about what gender the baby is. Her uncle Fonso didn't mention anything else about the baby and this was the most intriguing mystery she has ever dealt with and at the same time a very exciting matter.

”Calm down and sit properly, Anna.”

Anna ignored her brother's words and ask him, ”Brother, what do you think the baby's gender is?”

Aaron rolled his eyes in annoyance, this twin of his just won't listen when she's excited which is sometimes worrisome. Aaron did not answer his sister's question and just closed his eyes indicating that he does not want anybody to disturb him. Anna huffed when she saw what her brother just did, for the first time she does not want to be ignored by her own beloved brother.

Once they have arrived at the hospital the one who greeted them is Alfonso. The way he looks right now is very different from his usual fashionista way, he's dressed very casually today and he looks very manly right now. This Alfonso in front of them really surprises Aaron as if this is the first time he met Alfonso that he couldn't recognize.

”Uncle, you look... beautifully handsome...?” Alfonso doesn't know whether to laugh or scoffed at what Aaron just said to him. Normally, Alfonso would take it as a compliment but for some reason, he's not in the mood to take compliments right now.

Alfonso led the three of them to where the mother of his child is in. Her name was Pia and just a month ago she has given birth to his child and it has been a month for her stay in the hospital because of her health.

After a few days have passed since she gave birth to Alfonso's child, Pia called Alfonso to tell him about the child and the condition of her health. That is how it all started, now, he is slowly accepting the fact that he has a child to take care of. The only regret he has now is that why did he allow Pia resigned as his assistant on that day. If he just persists on asking why she is resigning maybe just maybe he could do something about Pia's health and she might stay much longer for the sake of the child.

Alfonso was deep in his thoughts that he didn't realize that they are already in front of Pia's room. A baby's loud cry return him to reality; a feeling of happiness and regret throb in Alfonso's chest when he heard the baby's cry.

Slowly, Alfonso opens the door afraid that he might make the baby more upset than it already is. For the past few visits that he took, he learned that his child can easily get startled when there is unwanted noise and every time he visits he is always careful with his actions.
