Chapter 71 - Revenge 70: Shes Dying (1/2)
”Hahaha! Fonso! I didn't know you have it in you! Hahaha! You've become a woMAN.” Zack said while laughing with all the might he got. Zack look at Mary and added, ”See what I just said? Wo-MAN, get it? Get it? Wo-MAN.”
”Shut it, Zack.” Mary coldly said to him.
”Your joke is just too funny for me that I forgot to laugh,” Leonardo said with sarcasm in his tone.
”You've lost your touch. Your jokes are no longer funny, Zack.” Mike said with mockery in his tone. Mike sure is having fun just to ruin Zack mood and it did work Zack's mood has drained into frustration because of the people who don't get his joke. Hearing those unwanted comments Zack just 'hmph' at them and sat on his seat with arms cross. 'Damned people.'
Zack and others arrived at Alfonso's studio when Mary called them to come. The first thing they've seen when they reached the studio is that they were surprised at Alfonso's sorry state. The three of them were amused to see him like that because it rarely happens. What amused them more is what they have heard from Mary's mouth, at first they would not believe that Alfonso got himself a child but looking at Alfonso's state right now they think that Mary is not messing around.
Seeing their amused face Alfonso felt betrayed. Instead of giving him some pieces of advice on how to deal with his problem because know how to deal with it. They instead kept looking at him with proud face plastered in their faces. ”Stop looking at me like that you stupid idiots!” Alfonso angrily looked at them.
”Calling us an idiot? I'm sorry but I don't think you have the rights to say that to us.”
”Leo's right. You don't have the right to say that to us. You're the one who got someone pregnant and speaking of how did that happen?” Hearing what Mike said Leonardo and Zack ears perks up wanting to hear what really happen.
They know how it really works but what they want to know is that how did Alfonso get himself entangled with a woman? They know what kind of a person is Alfonso is and putting him in a bed with a woman is impossible but looking at the circ.u.mstances right now; is putting him in bed with a woman is possible now?
”...” Alfson couldn't say a word, he knew what they exactly want to know but it's hard for him to tell the story.
Its been almost a year since then but he can still vividly remember how drunk he was and he was with his former assistant, she was also drunk at that time. It was a night that he possibly cannot believe that he can actually show a side that he doesn't know he has it inside of him.
Morning comes on that time, he and his former assistant woke up in surprise seeing their n.a.k.e.d bodies. Ever since then they have never spoken of that accident and then after a few days later, his former assistant came right in front of him handing him a resignation paper in her hands. Alfonso wants to ask why she's resigning as his assistant but when he saw her eyes as if it's saying that even if he asks her she will not tell and will resign either way. So, in the end, Alfonso accepts her resignation.
