Chapter 23 - Revenge 22: Catious (1/2)
At the cafeteria where some students gathered to eat their lunch after their morning classes, there were two young girls laughing uncontrollably, tears were clearly seen in their eyes and they hold their stomach in pain because of so much laughter.
”What are you two laughing about?” Aaron who's clueless asked Anna and her new found friend.
Both girls stop laughing and look at Aaron, ”Pfft!”
Aaron could feel his veins popping out from anger. He has no clue why do these two girls keep laughing at him everytime they look at him. Is there some dirt on his face? He subconsciously touches his face at that thought, he even took out Anna's little mirror in his bag. He looks at his reflection, 'There is no dirt why are they kept on laughing at my face? Am I ugly? No. That can't be the reason why.'
Aaron heaves a sigh to calm himself and decided that it's useless to get his answer from these two. ”What's your name anyway?”
Nathalia raised her right brow, ”You're asking that now?” After twenty minutes of being together in the same table, Aaron was asking her name now?
”Got a problem with that?”
Nathalie inwardly rolled her eyes, she can already tell that she and Aaron wouldn't get along. ”Nathalie... Nathalie Vendallin.”
”Your last name sounds familiar...” Aaron caresses his chin and then said, ”...and it's annoying.” Nathalia's mouth twitches from annoyance. How dare he say my last name is annoying?! That's her father's family name!
”Well excuse me if I annoyed you, mister!” Nathalia scoffed and turn her attention to Anna. She doesn't want to waste her time talking to someone like Aaron. ”So Anna, do you have any plans for this week?”
Anna just shook her head in response, she's busy chewing her food. Nathalia was delighted to know that Anna is not doing anything, it indicates that she has more time to get to know Anna.
Nathalia kept on telling Anna on what should they do after school today, tomorrow and the days gonna come after that. As Aaron was listening to the girl in front of him, he frowns. The more he listens the more he realizes that Nathalia is taking all of Anna's time for him.
”Hey! You just met each other and yet here you are taking up all her time!” Aaron would not let Nathalia get all of his beloved sister's attention away from him. Also, Anna should not allow Nathalia to take more of her time!
”It's fine, brother.” Anna gave her brother a reassuring smile.
”She said it's fine. Now, do please mind your own business.” 'Hah! Take that! You just don't want me to get close to your sister!' Nathalia smirk at Aaron and that smirk only made Aaron twitch in anger.
”But of course, if you're that worried about me you can just come with us.” Her words surprised Nathalia, she didn't like that idea at all. She just wants Anna to be with her alone and doesn't want to add a third wheel in the party.
