Chapter 8 - Revenge 7: Grandfather’s Birthday Party (3) (1/2)
”Miss Coleman, I am really sorry for my behavior the other day, and I'm really hoping that we could get along.” 'Hmph! Did she really think that I would fall for that?' Anna is now sure that Luna has ulterior motives on getting close to her.
'I'll play along with you for now' ”It's okay miss Loonier.” Anna said and gave Luna her sweetest smile, but only Aaron and Kyle knows that smile is fake.
”Great! And please don't be too formal, you can just call me Luna.” While both Luna and Anna were talking, Rebecca was grinning like an idiot.
Before Rebecca and Luna came, the both of them were talking about their similarities especially on the topic of taking Anna Coleman down. At first, Luna was very wary of Rebecca because she was close to Anna but when Rebecca noticed that there was a hint of depraved intention in her eyes, Rebecca made an alliance with Luna, even though they don't like each other, it's going to be a win-win game for the both of them.
”Then, please call me Anna.” Aaron could already know what's running through Anna's mind. Aaron is getting more and more excited about what kind of new side can Anna show him.
While Anna and the others are talking on some random things, Rebecca took a glass of Malibu C.o.c.ktail and put one pill of Rohypnol. Rebecca waited until she got a chance to give the drugged drink to Anna. She wanted to make Anna make a fool of herself and put dirt on her family's name, she already arranges a man for Anna for the night and already contacted her friend who's a reporter to go to a specific hotel. Rebecca saw Anna excuse herself from the group, so she took this chance to give the drink to her.
”Hey, Anna! Where are you going?” Anna looked at the glass of drink in Rebecca's hands. Anna could already realize what was Rebecca planning to do.
”I'm going to the restroom, why?” While saying this Anna is already hatching a plan to avoid Rebecca's plan and let it backfired on her.
”Nothing, really, but before you go you should really drink this c.o.c.ktail, it's pretty good.” Anna just scoffed inwardly when she heard her say 'it's pretty good'
”Uhm. I cant... I'm still underage to drink, Rebecca and you know that.”
Anna remembers exactly how Rebecca had persuaded her to drink that c.o.c.ktail, exactly how she stumbles and say a lot of embarrassing things in front of her grandfather's guests out loud. Her grandfather ordered her to go home and wait for her punishment and Rebecca volunteered to do that, but luckily Aaron didn't agree and he's the one that sends Anna back.
