Chapter 10 (1/2)

Chapter 10

A big green dragon was sniffing her bed.

Riya’s bed was already shattered between his huge legs.

Riya fell flat on the floor instinctively.

Riya was smothered by the powerful wind as the brilliant dragon fluttered its wings into the sky, clothed in shimmering scales.

‘I’m going to die now.’

She was aware that there were some nasty green dragons in this kingdom, but she had no idea they would invade the house in such a way. The dragon, on the other hand, did not attack.

Riya, who had envisioned herself being devoured alive, opened her eyes and gazed up at the dragon, her gaze meeting the dragon’s glittering yellow eyes.

It was terrifying since it appeared to be enormous, yet for some reason, the dragon’s eyes were extremely familiar.

“No way… Quangi?”

When Riya’s words dropped, the dragon raised his head and roared, as if he had understood.

“Oh, my goodness! Quangi. How did it grow so large in such a short period of time? Did you gain weight because you ate a lot earlier? No way.”

The green dragon, Quangi, then looked down at her and oddly opened his lips and uttered the same thing a person would.

“……kiss…seven times.”

“Huh? What? Because I kissed you seven times and you grew? Is that true?”

Riya’s mind got perplexed at that point.

She believed she had read a book on dragons a few days ago, but there was no such thing as a baby dragon growing after seven kisses.

No one has yet crossed the northern territory, the land of dragons, and for some reason, the dragons have just discovered because of how many people are dying as a result of the occasional human hunted by violent dragons.

She also heard that the dragons, who had become particularly aggressive due to the breeding season, had lost their temper and run wild.

However, Riya, who believed she wasn’t doing a good enough job of protecting the baby dragon Quangi, was stabbed in the back.

As Yucal stated, when a newborn baby dragon gets to be that large, it should be slaughtered.

“Quangi, how could you be such a big dragon? It’s a tragedy because I kissed you seven times. You’ve grown so much in such a short period of time. What am I supposed to do? You might die right now.”

In front of Riya, the green dragon squatted and knelt.

When she peered closer, she noticed that his eyes were yellow and that he had large tears in his eyes. Riya’s heart shattered at the sight.

“Ugh!”

She didn’t want to do anything but weep.

No matter how hard she tried, it was clear that he was still a baby. He was in tears as he kneeled, yet from the outside, it appears to be a vicious dragon.

Her big baby.

“Quangi!”

Riya, who had leapt, embraced his enormous neck and fell into tears, lamenting the fact that he had grown into an adult as if he were the baby she had given birth to.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t expect this after kissing you so many times.”

“Quang quang. Auntie, auntie. Kiss again, kiss again!

The door swung open as the dragon Quangi continued to mumble odd things and rub his big head

“Madam Riya! I don’t know…….”

Miryu’s eyes, which were ready to speak, became as large as a bell.

“Kyaa!”

Riya stepped in front of Miryu, who was shouting and attempting to flee.

“No, Miryu! Don’t tell anyone. Quangi is still a baby despite his stature. It’s due of the side effects of kissing.”

“Are you insane, Madam? The green dragon is a carnivorous predator that preys on humans. They consume the entire body without chewing it, allowing it to dissolve in their bellies. Oh, that’s awful.”

Miryu shivered, her hands encircling her face.

“In any case, you can’t tell anyone. Please? I’ll take care of it.”

“You can’t do that, Madam. Prince Yucal-nim is on his way here right now. There is no other knight in our kingdom who kills dragons as well as Prince Yucal Brian. I’m certain he’ll get rid of it!”

“What? Is he here?”

Riya was taken aback and dashed into her room.

‘I’m certain he’s back since he didn’t kill the baby yesterday. What should I do in this situation?’

Quangi, the green dragon, gazed at Riya, who ran in and fell into sobs again. He appeared to have a sense that he was in danger.

“Oh! Auntie, scared! Scared!”

Surprisingly, the dragon was talking. It was a ridiculous scenario, but she couldn’t afford to argue about it.

Riya drew the window curtains and draped them over Quangi’s body. A curtain, however, could not conceal his big body.

Inevitably, she drove him into the adjacent dressing room to the bedroom.

Fortunately, her personal dressing room was fairly large.

“Please, Quangi, don’t make any noise. Huh? You could be killed by a terrifying knight. Do you get what I mean?”

The curtain-covered dragon nodded.

Bang-

Yucal opened the door and entered as soon as the dress room door was closed.

He approached Riya as a knight who had scoured the battlefield for many years, scanning the chamber with piercing eyes.

Riya asked in a quivering voice, pretending to be as composed as she could.

“Pri, prince, what brought you to my humble room?”

“Where is the dragon cub, Riya Lisburn?”

Yucal inquired sternly.

“I-I’m sorry……but why do you keep……”

Riya trembled and barely inquired as Yucal approached without dropping his blade in front of him.

“…spe-speak informally…?”

Yucal was taken aback by her comments and looked at her in awe.

“If you’re looking for the dragon cub……”

Riya managed to continue in a trembling voice.

There was no opportunity for bargaining with this man in front of her.

As soon as he saw Quangi, there’s no doubt that he would cut Quangi with that sharp sword.

“He’s out! He’s out! Because he has wings, he flew away…… I tossed him away.”

Yucal then approached her with a dubious expression.

“He flew away? Where has he gone?”

Riya took a step back and shook her head as he approached.

“I’m not aware of that. He most likely returned to his homeland.”

“You mean north?”

Yucal furrowed his brows and inquired sharply.

“Well, I suppose so. I’m not sure.”

“Well, that dragon has a fair probability of being shot by border guards before reaching the border.”

He came to a halt when he attempted to turn around.
