Chapter 4 (1/2)
Chapter 004
Riya had been writing for nearly three days without saying a single word.
Her goal from now on was not to live a good life but to survive unconditionally.
She needed to get out of here and survive.
A word Elijah whispered the day before yesterday lingered in her ears.
‘You idiot, it’s exactly as written in that script. So, don’t ask questions, just go through it and die!’
There has to be something behind it.
‘I am sure there was a conspiracy situation where I had no choice but to die,’
But Elijah, that foxy bitch, was unlikely to tell her.
If she tried to find out, she would only hasten her death.
‘There is only one way out. If I leave this castle, I might be able to survive.’
Her writing speed was increasing as she became more determined.
She finished the synopsis and plot, began writing the story’s introduction but got stuck in one part.
She was supposed to describe the male lead’s appearance, but she had no idea.
She finally decided to borrow some real things after much deliberation.
‘Should I cast Prince Yucal Brian as the Male Lead? He would never read a romance novel, so I wouldn’t be discovered.’
“Can you tell me about Yucal-nim, Miryu?”
She decided to listen to Miryu’s vivid testimony before launching a full-scale personal investigation.
Miryu’s face flushed red as soon as Yucal’s name was mentioned.
“Oh, my goodness. Miryu? Your face looks like a freshly baked pumpkin pie. Hahaha.”
“Madam, don’t make fun of me. Not only me, but even young ladies in society would also flush red when Yucal-nim’s name was mentioned!”
“Okay, I get it now. So, instead, please explain it to me. I know his face is stunning, but what about his personality?”
“He’s a very cruel person.”
“Cruel?”
“He would mercilessly execute officials who committed wrongdoing.”
“Execute? Do you mean kill? That’s……that’s terrifying.”
“At last, he is generous in terms of saving and providing for his family. You should know that the First Prince murdered the rest of his family.”
“Ha! Well, that’s quite generous of him. Damn it.”
Riya couldn’t understand.
If he was that generous in taking care of his family, shouldn’t he have saved Riya’s life at that time as a part of his family?
“And he never looked at any women.”
“Really?”
“That’s why there’s a rumor saying that Yucal-nim swings that way.”
Riya’s eyes flashed at this point.
‘Should I go with BL?’
Wasn’t it a rare material in this era?
‘Seir and Yucal, for example, have different mothers. Yucal, on the other hand, grew fond of Seir……’
Miryu added another word as Riya worked hard on the idea in her head.
“And he’s quite capable. He will win every battle if he goes to war. That is why he is known as the Grim Reaper. No one can compete with his swordsmanship. More than that, he possesses magical abilities. In a nutshell, he’s gifted. But……”
“But?”
“There’s a rumor that Yucal-nim was originally the official heir to the throne, but that changed when Prince Elton suddenly possessed a tremendous amount of magical power, forcing him to relinquish his right to succession. Yucal-nim has become more introverted and violent since then. Rumor has it that he may plot treason to seize the throne. According to rumors, Yucal-nim has a strong desire for power, as opposed to Seir-nim, who is uninterested in royal authority.”
“Is that so?”
Riya scribbled it down quickly in her notebook.
A famished wolf who has been deposed from his throne. Very cold, arrogant, but intelligent.
Rumor has it that he despises women, but this is just a rumor, and he spends every night of pleasure on his bed, aka The Prince of The Night.
A manly man with uncontrollable energy.
“Miryu, I need to start writing right away, so don’t let anyone in.”
Riya, who had suddenly burst with creative energy, shut the door to the study.
“Indeed, Madam.”
Miryu exited with a puzzled expression.
‘What kind of writing is she going to do? It couldn’t be a book because Madam always fell asleep as soon as she opened it.’
Meanwhile, Riya, seated at her desk with a solemn expression, began to plot a love triangle centered on the crown prince.
‘What should I give the Count’s daughter’s name?’
Well, Julia would be fine.
The female lead would be Lisa, the Duke’s daughter.
It was similar to her name, but with one letter changed.
Prince Callius had been secretly dating Julia before being forced to marry the Duke’s daughter Lisa by the king.
On her first night, Lisa had to spend the night alone, crying, when she supposedly spent the night together with Prince Callius.
Then, one day, Lisa…….
Riya became stuck at this point in her writing.
The charisma of the male lead should be properly revealed, but she was obstructed in the specific description.
‘This isn’t going to work. I need the real thing to write properly.’
Riya abruptly asked Miryu, who had just entered with a tray of snacks.
“Where is Yucal-nim staying, Miryu? Is it close by?”
“Yucal-nim is currently residing in a separate annex.”
“Can you tell me where it is?”
“You’ll find it if you go out of here and walk along with the garden on the left for a while. But why?”
Miryu’s heart sank as she noticed Riya hurrying to get ready to leave with a white cloth covering her face.
She was worried that her Madam would cause more trouble.
“Wait here for a second. I’m going to do some research.”
“What? What kind of research?”
Riya dashed towards the annex, leaving the worried Miryu in the room.
She reasoned that she should write a plausible novel, even if it meant risking her life to do so.
As she walked past the pond, she spotted the mansion and crept inside.
Strangely, it was very fortunate that the servants and maids did not appear.
A knight in armor walked into the corridor, but she quickly hid behind a pillar and barely hid herself.
“Phew, that’s all there is to it. To put your life in danger in order to write a novel……”
Riya lowered herself to the ground after the knight had gone far away and passed through the hallway until she came to a slightly open door.
She crept in, taking her time to look around.
Surprisingly, the room was filled with hazy vapor.
‘Isn’t this a magical scene?’
Riya couldn’t hide her dismay as she looked around the room in fear and covered her mouth with her hands.
Through the steam, something was visible.
In front of her was a large marble bathtub with a man in it.
