Shin is ducking forward as he pulled the [Yamato] out from its sheath, before swinging it leftwards.

But the Doppelganger use the force of impact instead and swing its other arm and sword at Shin in a diagonal manner.

Shin swiftly move his left leg forward as he do a quick clockwise spin, skillfully dodging that diagonal slash. At the same time, he throw a flaming horizontal cut at the Doppelganger's waist during the process of that spin.

The Doppelganger's body suddenly turned into an illusionary figure before dashing backwards and transforming into a stick of crimson light.

After failing to hit his mark, Shin immediately take a single step forward with his left foot before turning his body towards his right and throwing forward sword thrust at it.

Shin's sword was deflected by the Doppelganger's sword when he throw that sword thrust. After that, the Doppelganger swing the sword on its left hand, targeting Shin's back.

The Doppelganger's counter is perfectly timed to react, but Shin calmly responded at it. He is holding the sheath of his sword with his left hand in a reverse handgrip manner. Then he tightens his grip on the sword-sheath as he move his left arm backwards and positioning the sheath diagonally at his back, planning to block the incoming sword strike.

The sword strike was quite powerful so Shin have taken some damage, but that damage is quite minimal with his current HP.

He use the force the came from that sword strike to move slightly forward, before throwing a back kick at the abdomen of the Doppelganger.

The Doppelganger raise its left arm before holding the sword on its left hand in front of it in a horizontal manner, tying to block the incoming slash.

The Doppelganger took another backward step when it received the downward slash. Shin on the other hand continue is assault. He use the [Yamato] to throw a diagonal slash at the Doppelganger. Then it was followed by a horizontal cut and a vertical chop.

Then the Doppelganger use each of its sword to throw a three consecutive slashes of its own to counter Shin's sword strikes.'

Each of Shin's strikes is stronger than the other because of the 'Yin-Yang Tiwst' Combat Technique, and the Doppelganger already knew about it, so it didn't let Shin to acuminate more force for his next attacks.

The Doppelganger transformed into a stick of crimson light as it move backwards and putting up some distance away from Shin.

But how can Shin let the Doppelganger get away just like that? He transform into a stick of bluish-white light and charges forward, chasing after the later.

The [Piercing Thorn] pierced through the left chest of the Doppelganger but it failed to hit the target heart. Eh!? No, the Doppelganger have no heart to be targeted to begin with, so the expected bonus effect of the 'Heart Seeker' skill didn't come in effect.

Then both of the swords of the Doppelganger suddenly release a threatening crimson glow.

Shin immediately pulled the [Piercing Thorn] from the Doppelganger's chest and jumped backwards to put some distance away from the Doppelganger.

And that is the time when the Doppelganger throw a simultaneous diagonal slash with each of its sword on its front, sending a crimson cross shaped sword Qi towards Shin's direction.

Then the sword on the Doppelganger's right hand suddenly release another crimson glow. After that, the Doppelganger swing its sword in an lower-right to upper-left diagonal motion, sending a straight crimson sword wave at Shin's direction.

Shin's cross shaped sword Qi was immediately destroyed by the crimson sword wave because the Doppelganger's stats is a lot higher than Shin. Then that crimson sword wave continue flying towards Shin but with a less power in it.

Shin formed a purple barrier around him to block the incoming sword wave while falling towards the ground.

The purple barrier around Shin show a lot of cracks on its surface when it was hit by the crimson sword wave, but it still managed to survive the attack. Then Shin successfully landed on the ground, four meters away from the Doppelganger.

After that, Shin immediately swing the [Yamato] rightwards, making for the purple barrier around him to be detonated and sending a circular sword wave that extends in all direction.
