When his mood calmed down, he would call Tang Yiyi.

Jane had initially thought that she could not go home now. If Gu Chen's mother saw her, she would definitely investigate him secretly. When that happened, the Gu family would find out about her relationship with Wenren Chuchu.

The only place he could go now was the hospital where Old Master Fu was.

As he thought of this, he headed straight for the hospital where Old Master Fu was staying.

When he arrived at Old Master Fu's sickroom, Jane had already sent away the two servants.

She sat by Grandpa Gu's bedside alone, her eyes filled with guilt as she looked at Old Man Fu.

”Grandfather, why are you still not awake? If you were, then there wouldn't be so many things happening.” Jane said softly as she held Old Master Fu's hand.

”You've slept for so long, if you don't wake up now, then my life will change along with it. I just want to live a normal life, and whatever rich and powerful family they are, it has nothing to do with me.”

Jian Chu had said all that he had said to the now unconscious Old Master Fu.

Jane began by saying a lot of things in her heart, talking about the things she was worried about, talking about her own helplessness.

Finally, Jane took a deep breath and looked at Old Man Fu, ”Even if I said so much to you, you wouldn't wake up, right?”

Jane stopped talking. The only sound in the ward was the beeping of the apparatus. In an instant, she felt that the room was very cold.

Jane couldn't help but hug her arm. She felt cold all over and dizzy all over.

After visiting Old Master Fu, Jane Chu dragged her exhausted body and dreamy consciousness back to the Gu family.

As soon as he entered the house, he heard Gu Chen's mother's sarcastic remarks.

”Where did you go again? You're not working right now, so you go out every day. Just what are you doing?”

Jian Chu smiled helplessly, then said softly, ”No, I just went to the hospital to see grandpa.”

”What's wrong with you? Your face is so pale.” Gu Chen's mother said as she looked at Jane Chu's face.

”It's nothing. Maybe it's because I'm too tired.” Then she dragged her heavy body back to the bedroom.

”Wait, wait.” Gu Chen's mother said as she walked up to Jian Chen.

Saying so, Gu Chen's mother reached out her hand to touch Jian Chen's forehead.

This action shocked Jane and she subconsciously dodged.

”Don't move.” Gu Chen's mother touched his forehead for a few seconds and then held Jane's head with both hands, using her forehead to touch Jane's forehead.

”Aiya, you have a fever.” Gu Chen's mother exclaimed.

”Fever? ”It's okay, Mom. I'll take some medicine.” With that, Jane started to walk back.

”No, no. Even taking medicine might not be good. Come, come with me to the hospital.” Gu Chen's mother said as she put on her coat.

”Mom, no need, it's really fine. You don't have to go to the hospital. ”

”How can that be? I can see that your face is completely drained of color. How can I not go to the hospital? Let's go, I'm afraid that you're in serious trouble now.” Gu Chen's mother said anxiously.

Jane was very surprised. Why was Gu Chen's mother so concerned about him? Perhaps she was not concerned about him, but was concerned that this would prevent him from getting pregnant.

Jane bitterly smiled and said, ”Mom, I'll go myself. You can stay at home. It's fine.”

”No, Gu Chen is currently at work. I'll accompany you.” Saying so, Gu Chen's mother took Jane's arm and went to the hospital.

Jane nodded, then whispered, ”Thanks, Mom.”

”What are you thanking me for? If it wasn't for Gu Chen being nice to you, I wouldn't be so concerned about you.”

Jane smiled helplessly and said, ”Mom, don't tell Gu Chen that I'm sick. I'm afraid he's worried.”

”Alright, I understand. You should go to sleep for a while.” I'll call you if you get an injection later. ” Gu Chen's mother said.

Jane closed her eyes, but her heart felt much better. No matter what, it was because she was happy or because her child hadn't come yet.

At the very least, he would not have to face Gu Chen's mother like he did his enemies.

Gu Chen, of course, was unaware of Jane's illness at the moment.
