At night, Jane was awakened by a strange feeling.

A warm and wet smell entered her ears. The man was rubbing against her ear, his soft lips pecking at her earlobes from time to time. The feeling of his buttocks made her unable to be ignored.

Although she had already experienced human nature, she was aware of the desire of a man. She could not help but feel a burning sensation on her face. It was better if a man could not see her at night, otherwise she would die of shame.

The man seemed to be very surprised when he felt the resistance of the person in his embrace.

Jane bit her lower lip and silently left the man's embrace, wanting to stay away from him.

But since it was a single bed, how big could it be? Jane was pulled back into her arms.

”Tell me, what happened?”

Jane still kept her mouth shut.

Seeing Jane's reaction, Gu Chen's eyes turned cold.

He suddenly thought of the picture on his cell phone. Although it had been confirmed that Jane had not had an affair with Li Dong, the thought that they had been in the same room for so long still made him uneasy.

”Is it because of Li Dong?” The low voice revealed a hint of danger.

”You don't want to get involved with him!” Jane's watery eyes stared at him like a cat's.

”Then why do you say so?” Seeing how Jian Yuan defended Li Dong, Gu Chen's anger grew even stronger. He gripped on Jian Yuan's wrist tightly.

It wasn't easy for the two of them to resolve the misunderstanding and make peace, but now, a new round of conflict had begun.

Looking at Gu Chen's overbearing attitude, Jane couldn't take it anymore and shouted, ”What?” Do you want to hit me again? First they sent someone to follow me, and now they're following me! Gu Chen, don't you think you've gone too far! ”

Upon hearing Jian Chen's accusation, Gu Chen was stunned for a moment before subconsciously releasing his hand. Only now did he realize that Jane was angry because he had sent someone to follow him, but not because of Li Dong. She actually had a hint of joy in her heart.

In the midst of her initial anger, Jane saw Gu Chen let go of her hand. She quickly grabbed the clothes by the bed and got up to leave.

Gu Chen came to his senses and quickly grabbed Jane's wrist.

”No, listen to me —”

”Let me go!” Jane began to shake her hands vigorously.

She lost her balance and fell into Gu Chen's arms. The burning kiss immediately sealed the foul words she was about to spit out.

Thinking that he had already sold himself to Gu Chen, she gave up on her struggle.

”I didn't ask anyone to follow you. The photo was sent to me by the hotel manager. The hotel is under my name.” Seeing that Jane had calmed down, Gu Chen patiently explained the situation.

”Really?” Jane looked at him in disbelief.

Gu Chen forced a smile. Did he look like that kind of person? Nevertheless, he gave the phone to Jane Chu so that she could see the conversation between him and the hotel manager.

Those words of flattery let Jane know that Gu Chen was not lying.

”I'm sorry.” Thinking of the straightforward apology Gu Chen had given her after misunderstanding, she felt too embarrassed to pretend she didn't see it, so she apologised awkwardly.

”Is it useful just to say you're sorry?” Gu Chen expressionlessly opened his mouth, making it hard for people to tell what he was thinking.
