Chapter 69 - 69. didnt deserve..... (2/2)
”Good Job, young master. Well, it would have been better to do it slowly” he sounded really regretful, ”but well...like promised we won't torture that dog anymore.....”, he paused to get a look at 'Mu' Xuan.
Xuan stood there unmoving, he had killed someone but there was no trembling, no regret, no pity, and certainly no disgust in his eyes.
He was calm as if, it was a daily thing for him and he was used to it....everyone thought that Guan Li was weird but if you ask him, even he had retched when he killed someone for the first time at 12, well, the man he had killed was his father and he only felt disgusted to touch that scum but still for a reason or other, he still had a change in expression ma... but looking at this boy who was half his age from back then, looking this calm, 'a Monster, indeed', he thought.
Xuan himself wasn't faking it, he was actually calm, in this dog eat dog world, all his world views had crumbled from that moment a month ago, this time he was just venting all that was pent up.
He was still calm until he saw his 'father' pull out an antique gun and pointing it at him with its barrel shining under the light giving it a cold silver shine.
Xuan had an omnious feeling, it wasn't the dread feeling one felt before dying but something even more dreadful.
His fingers jerked, he wanted to move from there but before he could do so, he saw Guan Li strongly pull Yun from the ground which made him fly in the air and.....
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing....
His ears started ringing....he felt the world stop.
Yun fell before his legs....he saw Yun watch him with those teary black eyes for a moment, engraving Xuan's face on his mind forever before he slept for eternity....and then giving out an almost inaudible whimper, he closed his eyes.
Yun had four bloody holes in his body...
Guan Li was saying something along the lines, ”You need to grow, you don't need feelings..you--------”, the rest was a mystery....
The ringing didn't stop...everyone went away.....he never saw his father again.....he never heard anything again............he didn't cry ever again...his heart had stopped at that moment, his soul had stayed there at that scene, just his body was moving.....he took Yun's body into his hands...the body was already cold but his heart was colder....he went back in a daze...along the road back, many were whispering...a trail of blood was left throughout his way back home...when his mother opened the door, he couldn't hide the undisguised hate he had for her, he saw her back away two steps with a devastated face....but he didn't care anymore.
He didn't need anyone anymore, losing one was enough, he didn't want to open his heart to anyone and at least not to someone like his so-called mother.....they didn't deserve it.
