Ruri stayed rooted there for a while, she didn't know what to feel but she still calmed herself down.

Ruri gave a soft reply, ”hmm”

”Ruri, you have a packed schedule. We can't push it, if you're done here, we should go back ba”, Nian Xi told her patiently.

Ruri was not the type to throw her temper and get irritated but she easily sulked and it took everything to get her mood back and hence this slow discussion.

Not getting a reply, Nian Xi was getting slightly edgy only to see Ruri in a daze.

”We didn't meet. He was out for work and seemed busy and--” she trailed off.
