”Do you have a boyfriend?” he asked after making Ling Yue spin.

”No. How could I have a boyfriend if my brothers was so annoying.”

He Luo chuckled. ”They are truly terrible. You should see how they drive away the men who approach you secretly.”

Ling Yue let out a sigh. She already knew that. Ling Yue often saw her brothers throwing away chocolate or flowers given to her. Secretly or openly. He Luo tightened his grip on Ling Yue's hand, with a sparkling smile he said,

”If you are willing, I want to try being your boyfriend. How is it?”

Ling Yue looked at him in disbelief. 'Don't tell me that He Luo is teasing me' Ling Yue really thought about it. Even after their dance was over.

”Don't answer now. Just think about it. I'll wait,” he whispered before handing Ling Yue back to Ling Feng.

'Boyfriend'

A word that sounded strange yet familiar to Ling Yue's ear. She always dreamed of having one someday. And now, someone suddenly offered to be that one!

Ling Yue heard the people around her talking but she's not listening, she was still in a daze. 'Do I have to say no?' She didn't feel anything like love or anything close to it as before. Even though it was obvious Ling Yue had liked He Luo.

As long as she lives, Ling Yue never dated. She doesn't know how to difference between love or lust. Her desire to have someone who can be loved and love her back in romantic way is always there. Many people dating end up in marriage. Not a few also led to separation. At least they can get to know each other first before deciding on the next step.

'Is it possible that love will grow over time? it doesn't hurt to try, right? Should I say yes, then?' she asked herself many times.
