Chapter 30 - Celebrate (1/2)

Chu Wei ran towards Ling Yue and embraced her. ”Oh, I must treat you better, future sister-in-law.”

Ling Yue laughed. ”I guess you have to fight extra hard for it. Ah Sheng is not an easy person, his temperament very bad ...” especially with a severe sister complex.

”Ah Sheng? Wow, his nickname is so cute. You have to take me to your house sometime and introduce me to him.”

Ling Yue nodded. ”Okay, treat me first now.”

Chu Wei snickered. ”You really took advantage of the opportunity,” she accused.

”That's what makes a lawyer, right?” Ling Yue chuckled and dragged Chu Wei to the cafeteria.

”Where are you going?” Ling Yue just got home and saw Ling Huansheng walking in the opposite direction.

”I have a party invitation. Brother Feng and Huang will be home late.” He walked to her. ”And grandfather asks you to visit him, he will hold his annual party next month.”

Ling Yue grabbed his tie, corrected it and patted his shoulder. ”Okay. Have fun.”

He kissed Ling Yue's forehead and rushed out. ”Oh yeah, I met He Luo yesterday, he invited us to celebrate his marriage the day after tomorrow.”

Ling Yue nodded and went up to her room. He Luo would getting married, and she felt normal. She laid down on the bed while playing with her cellphone after bathing and changing into a nightgown. Everyone was outside and here she was alone, bored and not sleepy. The cellphone's screen shook when a call came. Ling Yue picked it up without seeing who the caller was.

”Hello.”

”Where are you?”

Ling Yue pushed the phone away, a line of unknown numbers plastered there.

”Hurry up and come here, I'm waiting for you ...” his voice sounded drowning, sometimes sounding like a murmur. Ling Yue seemed to recognize this voice.

”Who is this?”
