The green mountain forest was refreshing. Birds were singing in the forest. The cool wind in the forest blew past, giving people a shock.

Qin Hanyan, Zhang Yuan, and Ji Chen slept well the night before Wen Zhizhi's face turned pale.

The usually timid Wen Zhizhi was trembling from head to toe from listening to Ji Chen's ghost story last night. Even after Zhang Yuan and Qin Hanyan had kindly instigated the atmosphere, her fear did not lessen much.

”Zizhi, you don't have a cold, do you?” Seeing her pale face, Qin Hanyan hurriedly pressed her hand against her forehead to feel her body temperature.

”No problem, I just didn't get a good night's rest.”

Zhang Yuan, who went out into the woods to catch the birds, heard this and smiled. ”I know I know I know I don't say anything.” Wen Zhizhi and Qin Hanyan were simply about to be defeated by this girl's brain!

After hastily finishing their breakfast, the four decided to walk around in the forest for half a day to get some fresh air and wait for lunch before descending the mountain.

Since the two girls wanted to solve their physiological problems, it wasn't convenient for Qin Hanyan and Ji Chen to follow them. Thus, they could only instruct the two of them, ”The two of you must move out together! ”Don't go too far!”

The conversation between Qin Hanyan and Ji Chen became quieter and quieter. There were occasional chirps of insects and birds in the forest, but the rest of the time it was quiet. When Wen Zhizhi and Zhang Yuan stepped on the leaves that they had accumulated all year round, the sound of breaking branches could be heard from time to time.

”Zhizhi, I'm going to the bushes over there.” Zhang Yuan grabbed his stomach and ran off. Although she was afraid, Wen Zhizhi could no longer hold her back.

”Zhang Yuan, are you still there?” After Wen Zhizhi had finished packing, she did not hear any sound and could not help but panic a little.

”I'm here.” Zhang Yuan replied while covering his nose.

”Alright, I'll be waiting for you up ahead. Come over quickly.”

In the silence of the forest, there were many hidden dangers.

Ah!” ”Ganoderma!” Suddenly, Zhang Yuan shouted in pain. A shriek startled the birds in the forest. When she looked back, she saw that she was clutching a leg with both hands, and that a small black snake was swimming away from her.

Zhang Yuan was bitten by a snake! This knowledge caused Wen Zhizhi to be unable to stand still. She quickly picked up a tree branch and knocked it on the ground. As she knocked on the tree, she rushed to Zhang Yuan's side.

”Zhang Yuan, how are you?” ”What kind of snake is that? Did it bite its leg …” Wen Zhizhi shook her hands, her eyes filled with tears.

”Zhizhi, don't panic! Calm down! Quickly go find Ji Chen and Qin Hanyan! ” After Zhang Yuan was bitten, he calmed down and told Wen Zhizhi.

When Wen Zhizhi heard this, she immediately ran back to the campsite to call for Qin Hanyan and Ji Chen.

When Ji Chen heard the news that Zhang Yuan might be injured, he immediately ran into the woods. After running a few steps, he hurriedly turned around and asked, ”Which way?”

Everyone followed the direction Wen Zhizhi pointed to and immediately returned to where they were. Ji Chen's eyes were bloodshot as he asked Zhang Yuan, ”Yuan Yuan, where are you hurt?” Zhang Yuan carefully rolled up his pants. There seemed to be a snake bite wound on his ankle.

Ji Chen immediately tied Zhang Yuan's injured leg with clothes and carried her back to the campsite.

Fortunately, Ben had planned to leave today. All sorts of camping equipment had been returned to the car.

Ji Chen originally wanted to take Zhang Yuan to the nearest hospital, but Zhang Yuan insisted on waiting for Wen Zhizhi and Qin Hanyan.

”Ji Chen, your current condition isn't suitable for driving, so don't be impulsive.”

”But you were bitten by a snake! We have to go to the hospital for treatment right away! ” Ji Chen felt that he and Zhang Yuan could leave first and then contact the professional mountaineer to meet Qin Han Yan and Wen Zhi on their way. After all, Qin Hanyan had plenty of experience in collecting wind and surviving. Furthermore, there were transportation routes at the side of the mountain, so very few people would encounter danger.
