”Jian Ran?” Qin Yue slowly opened his eyes. His voice was low and hoarse, his eyes bloodshot and terrifyingly red.

”Qin Yue, you have a fever. Get up, we're going to see a doctor. ” Jian Ran hugged his arm, wanting to pull him up, but he was too heavy for her to pull.

Qin Yue frowned as he glanced at her before slowly closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Jian Ran picked it up and saw that it was another call from Xu Huiyi. When she connected the call, she heard Xu Huiyi say, ”Mrs. Qin, Boss Qin is allergic to penicillin, you must not let him touch this.”

Jian Ran nodded: ”Ok.”

The person on the other end of the line hung up, giving off the feeling that she was not the Xu Huiyi who would normally do things properly, but Jian Ran did not mind.

Jian Ran used one hand to apply an ice towel to Qin Yue's forehead, and the other hand to hold tightly onto his large palm: ”Qin Yue, do you feel better like this?”

Even though she knew that he wouldn't be able to hear her words, Jian Ran hoped that he would be able to give her a clear answer.

After a while, Jian Ran took the ice bag away and leaned over naturally, pressing her forehead against hers.

The slightly hot body temperature passed through his skin. For a moment, it was so warm that it made people feel reluctant to part from him.

This was the first time Jian Ran was so close to him and looked at him with such seriousness.

He was truly a good-looking person. His handsome face was like a work of art that had been meticulously polished by time. Every inch of his features was filled with elegance and calm.

How could there be such a good-looking person? Even with his eyes closed, it was still enough to make one's heart throb.
