Julian is currently standing on top of the grand stadium in the lily valley, this is where he will face off against the champion of the Sinnoh region, Cynthia, ever since she stepped into the seat of the champion she has never been defeated and she wants to keep it that way.
Julian has trained for this day and he is ready for it, the same goes for Cynthia as well, most of the time the challenger is the underdog but in this scenario, the champion is the underdog.
Cynthia is giving her all for this battle and is training a lot harder, her team is strong and the newest addition to her team, her Zoroark will be a real threat as his power is way beyond a champion level pokemon and none of Julian's pokemon in his current team is near champion level, Garchomp is the closest.
The only x-factor will be Crystal, even though its power is not over a champion level with Julian behind it, Crystal can take on even a powerful legendary pokemon if needed.
As Julian watched the workers down below reinforcing the battlefield with a tungsten layer so that it doesn't gate destroyed during the battle, tungsten are the hardest metal found in this world and it is known to withstand a lot of things.
During the war times, tanks were made of tungsten which was also to even stop attacks like Hyper Beam and Giga Impact from powerful pokemons so to get through these tanks, humans used tungsten projectiles that were shot at high speed to puncture through these thick tungsten armor tanks.
Using tungsten is the best possible fission the league made for this battle, as Julian watched these workers get busy so they can finish their work, Cynthia appeared behind him and hugged him from behind.
Julian ”You should be training, or you will lose”
He said.
Cynthia ”We will see about that”
She said but didn't let go of him.
Julian ”So, are you just going to hold on to me like this?'
Cynthia ”Yes”
Julian ”Fine, but don't forget, I won't go easy on you”
He said and smiled.
Cynthia ”That's my line, do you think you can defeat my pokemons with your current team?”
Julian ”This is the first time I am facing an opponent who has a pokemon that is way stronger than mine but I have my ways”
He said and smiled.
Cynthia ”We will see”
Julian ”Yes, we will see. By the way, I am hungry, let's go eat”

Julian and Cynthia then went to eat some food then get some rest, they will be facing each other tomorrow and it will be a huge battle.
As they went into their room, try got a call from Kalos from Daisy and Chloe as they cheered for Cynthia and told her to destroy Julian for being so c.o.c.ky, Julian just smiled and said nothing.
The day finally came to an end and the battle that the whole world is waiting for is just hours away from happening.

Next morning, a huge crowd has gathered in front of the grand stadium with multiple reporters and TV crew swarming the premises to film the event, there are also people at home sitting in front of their TV to watch this battle, they are all excited, they wanted to see who will be the winner.
Till now Julian won every battle flawlessly and many believed that he can win against Cynthia as well but there are still some people who wanted to support their champion and believed in her strength.
People entered the grand stadium and filled with anticipation as they waited for the champions to come on and start their battle.
After an hour passed the announcer took his seat and began to introduce the participants, first to walk in is Julian as he is the challenger, people's voices echoed in his ears as they repeated his name, the announcer then introduced Cynthia who also got a massive greeting by the crowd.
This was not just a normal challenger versus champion battle, this was a battle between two lovers as well and this got people really excited.
They wanted to see what the outcome of this battle will be.
Soon the referee walked in with two flags in his hand, he soon started to explain the rules of this battle, this will be a three on three pokemon battle.
The reason is that the league didn't want the grand stadium to be destroyed so they limited the use of pokemons but nobody needed to know that, the rest of the rules are the same, both sides are allowed to switch pokemons anytime they want.
