Yun Liuli was glancing around, looking for god-knows-what. Heart rising to her throat, Guan Nina tugged at Yun Liuli's sleeve and whispered, ”What are you doing? They're going to beat Zhou Yuchen up!”
”Looking for a brick!”
Indeed, Yun Liuli then found a brick. She stuffed her books and water bottle into Guan Nina's arms, then charged towards those people with a brick in hand and smashed it at someone's head.
The dumbfounded Guan Nina nearly let out a gasp. She watched as the guy whom Yun Liuli smashed a brick at stumbled a few steps to steady his footing before raising a hand and touching his head…
Fresh red blood.
Zhou Yuchen, who had injuries on his face, paused in surprise. Watching an expressionless Yun Liuli with a brick in hand, his heart nearly leaped out of his chest.
”D*mn…”
As the guy shouted out ”damn”, Yun Liuli smashed him with the brick again. This time, the brick broke into two pieces.
”Zhou Yuchen, I taught you. To make these people afraid of you, nab one… and beat him as hard as you can!”
Upon seeing the fairy-like lady act so ferociously, the rest retreated several steps, looking at each other, unable to make sense of the situation.
It was Zhou Yuchen who went forward to hold back Yun Liuli's raised hand. Chest heaving violently, he couldn't conceal the anxiousness in his complicated gaze. ”I don't want you to meddle in my affairs!”
Hearing this, Guan Nina couldn't resist running to Yun Liuli's side. ”Zhou Yuchen, how can you talk like this? Liuli is doing this to help you!”
”I don't need your help!” Zhou Yuchen shook away Yun Liuli's hand, shaking all over. ”Go! Scram!”
”Is it so easy to leave? Don't you need to pay the price for beating someone up?” said the guy who was beaten up with clenched teeth.
Yun Liuli tugged at Zhou Yuchen's arm and pulled him behind her with a cold face…
Yun Liuli suddenly saw those hooligans' expressions change.
”Miss Liuli…”
She turned around and saw Gu Qingcheng's assistant and the bodyguards behind him.
After those hooligans fled in fear, Guan Nina went with Zhou Yuchen to attend to his wounds, while Yun Liuli sat in the car by the roadside with Gu Qingcheng's assistant.
The assistant handed Yun Liuli a document. ”Mr. Gu has arranged two teams to secretly protect you. Also, you can get your allowance and claim your expenses with Mrs. Fu!”
”What is this?” Yun Liuli asked with the documents raised.
”These are some assets under Mr. Gu's name, including the apartment at the Cloud Top Condominium. He wants to transfer all these into Miss Liuli's name! Mr. Gu has already signed the documents!” explained the assistant.
The assistant had initially thought that Gu Qingcheng would transfer most, if not all, of his assets to Yun Liuli. But he ended up transferring very few of his assets to her!
So, for safety's sake, he could only give Yun Liuli a little.
Yun Liuli sniffled. ”Where is he?”
”Mr. Gu is busy…”
That was as good as not answering her at all!
