939 Dare to Do It but No Guts to Admit It? (2/2)

Song Yao had just flipped open the book and looked at two pages when she heard ranting noises coming from downstairs.

Because Song Yao was on the balcony, and add to that the fact that Song Yao liked a quiet environment, Cen Mo had instructed everyone long ago that such turmoil wasn't allowed in the house. Song Yao wondered if something had happened. She had just put on her shoes and prepared to head downstairs when the bedroom door was pushed open. The woman's piercing voice could be heard even more clearly now.

The servant closed the door, speaking with a terrible countenance. ”Madam… Sir's adoptive mother is back. She's making a din downstairs, asking to see Sir. I've already called Sir. He asked me to come over and keep you company, and also to tell you not to worry. He's coming back immediately!”

When Song Yao heard that it was Cen Mo's adoptive mother, she thought about it and then sat down. She reopened the book and started reading it, but the din downstairs was getting louder and louder, so loud that Song Yao couldn't ignore it even if she wanted to.

”I know that little slut is upstairs! Get out of my way! Scram!”

Song Yao could tell that this was the voice of the young lady from the Cen family. She closed the book and put on her shoes again, planning to go upstairs to the glass greenhouse to read her book. It was quieter there.

Song Yao had just put on her shoes when her phone vibrated. She bent over and picked it up to glance at it. It was Cen Mo.

Cen Mo's magnetic voice could be heard from the other end of the line. ”Stay in the room and don't go out. I'll be home soon!”

”It's too noisy on the second floor, so I plan to go to the top level's greenhouse to read a book.” Song Yao's voice was gentle and soft.

Upon hearing that Song Yao wasn't affected, Cen Mo's heart was put at ease. Even his voice sounded gentler now. ”Okay, so long as it doesn't affect your mood. Get someone to stay close to your side at all times…”

”I know, don't worry!” Song Yao smiled. ”There are so many people at home. They're not going to let anything happen to me!”

”I'll be home in five minutes!”

”Okay!” Song Yao nodded. ”I'll wait for you in the greenhouse upstairs…”

After hanging up the call, Song Yao took out a jacket from her wardrobe. At that moment, the bedroom door suddenly opened.

”Second Missy, you can't enter!”

”Second Missy!”

The servant couldn't hold back Cen Mo's younger sister from the Cen family, Cen Ruo. Seeing Cen Ruo barge into the bedroom, the servant looked towards Song Yao pitifully. ”Madam…”

”Madam?” Cen Ruo snickered. ”How is she 'Madam'? She's got the face of a vixen and only knows how to shamelessly seduce my brother! If it weren't for you, my sis-in-law wouldn't have called off the marriage agreement with my brother! And our Cen family wouldn't be reduced to this state! You shameless slut, how dare you stick by my brother's side! See if I won't beat you to death!”

How could the Cen residence's servants allow Cen Ruo to really touch Song Yao? The pregnant Song Yao was incredibly precious.

”Song Yao! You slut! Vixen!”

Amidst Cen Ruo's scolding, Song Yao maintained a calm expression as she stared at Cen Ruo. She slowly put on her jacket, and as her finger grazed past the stiff material of the sleeves, she let out a slight sound…

Song Yao slipped her phone into her pocket, pulled her hair out from inside her jacket, then walked towards the coffee table.

Seeing the nonchalant Song Yao, who was treating her like air, Cen Ruo grew even more furious. She stamped her foot, becoming even more overboard with her insults. ”Your mom was forced to her death by a third party! If your mom sees that you've become someone else's mistress, aren't you afraid that she might be so angered by you that she'll jump out of her coffin? Why, have you turned into a mute? Dare to do it but no guts to admit it?”

Song Yao picked up a book, then turned around, gazing at Cen Ruo with a smile. ”So what if I've done it? I admit it… What can you do about me?”

”You!” Cen Ruo hadn't expected Song Yao to admit it so straightforwardly. ”Shameless!”

”Right… I am shameless! How much better are you? At least… I didn't interfere in the marriage of a married man! And you? Falling for your teacher when you were underage. Despite clearly knowing that your teacher was married with kids, you entered into an affair with him. You even threatened your teacher, Mr. Fan, by kidnapping his four-year-old son, telling him to get a divorce…”
