You Nainai was the one who called the family doctor over. Fu Huai'an felt that the house wasn't as well-equipped as the hospital, and Lin Nuan wouldn't be able to receive a thorough physical checkup.
But the family doctor was already there, and Fu Huai'an couldn't just ask her to go back.
”Did you rush back because I made you worry?”
Lin Nuan stared into Fu Huai'an's eyes. Under his arched brows, his eyes were evidently bloodshot. His fatigue was hidden behind a gentle smile, and his slender and well-defined features seemed even more prominent.
”That's part of the reason! It's mostly because I missed you…” he said.
Lin Nuan and Fu Huai'an had constantly kept in touch while he was on his business trip. She knew how much Fu Huai'an rested, how busy he was, and how tired he was.
She felt sorry for Fu Huai'an, but she finally didn't have to worry about him.
Lin Nuan couldn't hold herself back. She got up and knelt beside the bed, her arms wrapping around Fu Huai'an's waist. His familiar and calming scent was so comforting that it made her nose sting. She rubbed her teary eyes into Fu Huai'an's chest before looking up into his eyes. ”I missed you too. I missed you so, so, so much!”
Fu Huai'an held onto Lin Nuan's slender waist with one hand and gently caressed her back with the other as he lowered his head…
Their eyes met. Lin Nuan knew what Fu Huai'an was trying to do and held her breath as she gently raised her head. When their noses touched, it felt like an electric current was sent down her spine!
Fu Huai'an's searing hot lips pressed against her own as he hugged her tightly and expertly pushed his tongue into her mouth…
His long and slender fingers weaved through Lin Nuan's dark hair as he grabbed the back of her head and deepened the kiss.
Under Lin Nuan's palms were Fu Huai'an's firm neck and shoulders. His body gradually became warmer, causing Lin Nuan to grab at the back of his collar instinctively. She tilted her head to respond to the kiss and hugged him even tighter.
Lin Nuan was kissed until she ran out of breath, and her mind went blank. She thought that if they continued, they wouldn't be able to stop. When it came to that, Fu Huai'an never knew how to control himself!
After a few days of not seeing each other, Lin Nuan had missed Fu Huai'an dearly. She missed everything about him!
