Lu Jinnan looked in front as he tried to figure out where the sound was coming from. Eventually, he saw Lin Nuan sitting on a bench to the right. She had a coat draped over her shoulders, and her left arm, which was weakly hanging in front of her chest, was wrapped in white gauze. The bloodstains on her dusty pink blouse were frightening.

Lu Jinnan quickly walked towards Lin Nuan. His handsome features tensed up, and he tightly gripped the handles of the paper bag with the clothes in it.

She raised her head and saw anger in Lu Jinnan's eyes as he stood in front of her. She glanced at the bag in his hand and asked, ”Is that for me?”

He glanced around and saw no sign of You Nainai, so he asked, ”Where's You Nainai?”

Lin Nuan pointed behind Lu Jinnan. You Nainai walked over from the water cooler with a disposable cup in her hand.

As Lu Jinnan passed Lin Nuan the clean clothes he brought for her, he couldn't help but exclaim, ”Old Fu just left, and you've already injured yourself…”

You Nainai gave Lin Nuan the cup of hot water and summarized what happened at the agency to Lu Jinnan. Lu Jinnan was a man too. After hearing that Fang Yan's husband brought his mother to the agency and that the two of them acted shamelessly, he said, ”I'll get someone to take care of this!”

If Lin Nuan hadn't thought of all of that, she wouldn't have tried so hard to make Fu Huai'an stay. She wouldn't have such a great desire to become strong and not become a burden to Fu Huai'an after he left!

Lu Jinnan looked at Lin Nuan's pale face and tried to speak as calmly as possible. ”I'm not blaming you! I know you love Old Fu very much. I just hope… that you'll try to dissuade him the next time he wants to put himself in danger like this! Old Fu may not listen to me, but you… Old Fu will definitely listen to you!”
