211 Arenst You Going to Dress My Wound? (1/2)
Recalling what Bai Jinyu had said while holding back Fu Huai'an, Lin Nuan was worried that Fu Huai'an might be implicated. She opened her mouth to speak, but before she could say a word, Fu Huai'an had put out his cigarette. He took out a first aid kit from the cupboard next to the window and walked towards the sofa.
Lin Nuan stood rooted to the spot. Fu Huai'an placed the first aid kit on the coffee table and sat down on the sofa. He looked at Lin Nuan, who had not moved an inch and said, ”Aren't you going to dress my wound?”
Lin Nuan snapped out of her thoughts and walked towards the coffee table.
Fu Huai'an's phone was vibrating inside his trouser pocket. He took it out and placed it casually onto the coffee table.
Lin Nuan sat on the single seater next to Fu Huai'an and placed the first aid kit on her lap. She lowered her head to look for some antiseptic lotion and band-aids. Her damp hair fell onto her face, and she tugged it behind her ears and continued searching.
Fu Huai'an gazed at her intensely, his Adam's apple moving.
Having found the antiseptic lotion, some cotton swabs, and band-aids, Lin Nuan held them in one hand and placed the first aid kit back onto the coffee table. Fu Huai'an's large hands rested on his crossed knees, she instinctively stood beside him and bent down. She held his hand and with her other hand holding the cotton swab, she carefully cleaned his wound.
The cotton swab had just come into contact with Fu Huai'an's hand when her long hair slid down, obstructing her vision. She frowned and just as she was about to crouch down, Fu Huai'an suddenly grabbed hold of her arm.
Lin Nuan raised her head, asking, ”Did I hurt you?”
Just as she finished speaking, Lin Nuan felt herself being pulled into Fu Huai'an's arms. His injured hand propped up her chin, his distinctive features closing in, and his breathing was intense—it was obvious what he wanted to do.
Their noses came into contact, and Lin Nuan held her breath, tightening her grip on Fu Huai'an's neck. She held the back of his shirt collar tightly, her body trembling slightly.
