After sending Lin Nuan to her apartment building, Liu Mingchen exited the car to send Lin Nuan up the stairs. Embarrassment still evident in his face and his ears were slightly red. He glanced briefly at Tang Zheng who was making a call in the car and said, ”Nuan Nuan, I'm not trying to rush you or force you. I know there are a lot of people wooing you, so I want to know if you dislike me and if you mind that I'm pursuing you?” I don't want to cause you any trouble.”

Liu Mingchen spoke sincerely like a gentleman, coupled with some anxiety. Even if he was unwilling to show it, his eyes still betrayed him.

Tang Zheng was still in the car so Lin Nuan didn't want to talk about it at the moment.

”We'll talk about it next time…”

Hearing Lin Nuan's words, Liu Mingchen clearly misunderstood. Next time, that meant that they could have another date.

Earlier on when he went in the car, Tang Zheng used the excuse that it was inconvenient for Lin Nuan to sit on the passenger's seat carrying a huge bouquet of flowers, so he made Lin Nuan sit in the back, not taking himself as a stranger at all.

”If it's troublesome, just drop him off somewhere where it's easy to get a cab. I'm not very familiar with him.”

Lin Nuan meant every word of it. She hadn't forgotten how Tang Zheng had made things difficult for her during the meal last time with that mouth of his, and she had definitely not forgotten how Tang Zheng had desperately prevented her from leaving Fu Huai'an's house at his gate, making her feel awkward.
