Chapter 239 - Mad? (1/2)

Leaving and locking the bedroom, Wang Ming walked down the stairs. He had to ensure Lang Lin's security. Walking down the stairs, Wang Ming started thinking about who would attack him like this. A few groups came to mind, Bo Hou Zhang and his father, The Cao family and the HouZi gang. He had offended a few smaller groups, but they shouldn't be able to do anything to him.

The highest possibility was the Houzi gang or the Cao family, but he had made peace with both groups. Cao Hu had given him his shop to ease their conflict while the HouZi gang had his father. Everyone in the gang should know about their relationship. He doesn't regard Wang Peng as his father anymore. He had severed that connection after seeing the beast he had become. So no one from the gang should hunt him.

Walking into the living room, Wang Ming tried to find what had broken. Scouting the living room, he saw everything was intact. After clearing the room and making sure that no one had sneaked into the room, he then walked to the kitchen. In the kitchen, Wang Ming saw the window were slightly opened and the vase which stood behind the window had fallen down.

Walking up to the window, he looked out the window to see if someone was standing out there. The wind couldn't have caused something like this. Someone must have tried to push open the window, which resulted in the vase falling. After closing the window, he took a last look around the window. Wang Ming caught a pair of eyes staring at him from below.

”Fu Ya?” Wang Ming felt like Fu Ya was an angry ghost were staring at him. He hadn't seen her earlier since the window obscured his vision.

”What are you doing here? Didn't you go home?” Fu Ya didn't respond to him. She pointed to the door. Wang Ming felt confused for a few seconds, but realized that she wanted him to open the door for her. He hadn't given her the keys to his house yet.

Opening the door for her, Fu Ya still said nothing. She just kept staring him down. ”Is everything okay? Say something honey.”

She kept ignoring him. Looking at the stairs, she walked up to the second floor and stopped in front of the bedroom. Wang Ming followed her all the way. Fu Ya looked like a resentful ghost trying to take revenge on her cheating husband. Seeing her eyes made him feel nervous even though the person on the other side is Lang Lin.

Since she had entered the house, Fu Ya had said nothing. She then broke her silence. ”Open the door now.” Wang Ming felt happy that she finally said something. He didn't know why she was acting like this. Her voice sounded so cold, almost like she wanted to rip him to shreds.

Taking out the key, Wang Ming opened the door and said. ”Why are you acting like this? Did I do something wrong? We parted happily earlier.”

Fu Ya didn't respond. Opening the door, she sighed, seeing Lang Lin lying on the bed. From how he had seen her act earlier, he thought that she would explode and shout at them. Yet nothing happened. She walked towards the bed with slow steps, taking off her steps she then jumped into the bed.

What just happened? Is the only thing Wang Ming could think. Looking at Lang Lin and Fu Ya, he didn't know what to do. Was it okay for him to join them in the bed? Or did this mean that Fu Ya was angry at him and he should sleep on the couch? Putting his hand on Fu Ya's shoulder, he asked gently.

”Wifey, did I do something wrong? Why are you acting like this?” Fu Ya didn't bother to look at Wang Ming she closed her eyes pretending to be asleep.

Lang Lin came to his rescue luckily. ”She isn't mad at you, she's mad at me. I promised her to not sleep with you before after the competition. We had planned a big surprise for you, no matter the outcome of the competition. If you lost, then we would be here to cheer you up. If you win, then we would celebrate with you. Sister Ya, only lied about the punishment to motivate you. Between all of us, Sister Ya is the one who worries and cares about you the most!”

Fu Ya blushed. She wanted to scold Lang Lin for telling him all about their secrets. She didn't want Wang Ming to know about their plans. They are supposed to be an alliance.
