Chapter 209 - Mental Patient (1/2)

Wang Ming woke up feeling refreshed. This being the third day already without having the girls by his side, it felt weird, but right now it's for the better. The only thing bothering him more than not having his girls around him is that he had made no progress.

Nothing came out as he wanted to, either the consistency was wrong or the taste was off. He tried to make his own spice instead, but that didn't work either. If he didn't come up with something soon, then his winning chances would be a big fat 0.

After washing up, Wang Ming went down to the kitchen, the place where he had lived the past 3 days. If he had been a normal person, then the kitchen would probably be as filthy as a public toilet, but the one thing Wang Ming could never tolerate is a dirty kitchen, even at the old decrepit house he lived with his dad. He would always clean the kitchen, even the toilet could be dirty, but not the kitchen.

Sitting down on the chair, Wang Ming felt a headache. Even though he had cleaned the kitchen, he could still smell the spices sitting in the drawer. Wang Ming wanted to create something, but he just couldn't it's the first time in his life he has felt so helpless when cooking. Right now, even with how much he pressured himself, he just couldn't motivate himself.

Taking a deep breath, Wang Ming sighed. Even though he only has 4 days left to prep with, he felt like he just couldn't work today. His mental not in the right place, he felt like he was making excuses for himself. But when he sat down to think of recipes, his head would just be blank. He couldn't think of anything.

Grabbing his phone, Wang Ming called Fu Ya. He hadn't met her for a few days. He wanted to catch up with her and Ming Ming then visit Aunt Fu. He had told Fu Ya to contact him if there's any news, but he had gotten none yet, which made him want to visit her.

”Hello?”

”Who's dis?”

”Ming Ming, it's Daddy, where are you and Mommy? I will come and pick you up to eat.”

”Mommy isn't here, Ming Ming's home alone.”

”Wait there, I'll come get you.” Wang Ming didn't think that Fu Ya would leave Ming Ming home alone, even though she's a good girl. What if a stranger came by? Though since Aunt Fu isn't there to help her take care of Ming Ming, she's forced to leave her at home if she has to go somewhere she can't take Ming Ming with her. Before he left, he sent a message to Fu Ya telling her he took Ming Ming out.

Wang Ming then walked to the house next door. Ming Ming was already at the door waiting for him, with a big smile. ”Wear your clothes then we'll go to get something to eat, okay?”

”But, I want Daddy's food!”
