Following the road Wang Ming had pointed them to, Fu Ya came across the men Wang Ming fought earlier. Seeing Poison Wolf in a pool of blood on the ground made her body freeze. Even though she didn't want to, her natural response was to scream. Which woke up Poison Wolf's underlings who Wang Ming had knocked out earlier.
Fu Ya knew the men wasn't any good as she recognized them from the kidnapping, she tried to run away from the place as fast as she could, but since she had to drag Wang Ming with her, she didn't even make it 100 meters before the men realized what had happened and chased after her.
At first the men wanted to take care of Poison Wolf, but when they realized he had died, they all shifted their attention to Wang Ming. They of course wouldn't dare to fight him if he wasn't injured, but seeing Wang Ming's state now, they would probably just need to breathe on him to kill him. He couldn't even walk without the woman's help.
”Brothers! We need to avenge Brother Wolf! Remember how many benefits he has given us!”
Even though some of the men felt unsure as Wang Ming had beaten them so easily earlier, but they felt like they had no other choice. It didn't take them long at all to catch up to Fu Ya and Wang Ming, who had only managed to run to the warehouses Wang Ming had passed by earlier. Dai Jiayi who Wang Ming had interrupted earlier saw the couple through the warehouse window. She and her boyfriend were about to leave, but she had to watch this. Maybe she could even pressure Wang Ming to have s.e.x with her, if she gets her boyfriend Xia Duyi to save him.
Seeing the gangsters from the HouZi Gang surround the couple made her smile hopefully they made the couple lose all hope so that she could swoop in and be the damsel saving the hero in distress.
Fu Ya didn't think the men would chase after them, especially seeing most of them being hurt, but the HouZi Gang thugs was like hungry wolves chasing them relentlessly, even though she had a big gap between them, they caught up in just a short while. The men surrounded them all, looking like they wanted to kill them. She was terrified that they would not only kill Wang Ming but take her back to Cao Hu.

You don't have any reason to stop us, just let us go.” Brother Wolf's underlings had thoughts about taking Fu Ya back, but since he let her go, they wouldn't bother to take her back, in case of angering him. They all know about the masters who are affiliated with Cao family, there's no way Wang Ming could fight them and save Fu Ya, the only way is that they let her go.
”You can go, but we can't let him go. He killed our big brother! We need to take him back to the boss.” Fu Ya gritted her teeth. She hoped they would back off hearing Cao Hu let them go. ”Young Master Cao, guaranteed our safety! Your boss might kill you, but Young Master Cao's bodyguard Zhou Jian will definitely kill you if they find out about this.”
Zheng Nianzu, the acting leader, thought about letting them go as he didn't want to offend Cao Hu, people offending the Cao family is just courting death.
