Walking into the room, Wang Ming were greeted with angry and anxious looks directed at him, which was from his customer's families. Though for his infected customers most of them looked better already, and what surprised him was none of them. Looked at Wang Ming with hate but with a deep curiosity.

They wanted to hear Wang Ming's explanation in case of them blaming the wrong person. They had all dined in big restaurants and knew how strict rules there were for quality control. But Wang Ming wouldn't get out of this unscathed, they all wanted some compensation. Well, except for Zhu Hang, who only wanted to talk more with Wang Ming.

Looking back at them, Wang Ming took a deep breath. Trying to not look meek but confident and professional.

”We At Wang's Family Restaurant are sorry for what happened. I'm not 100% sure of why there has been a wolfbane poisoning. But I have a lead on it already, and I will launch my own investigation then call the police to have them punish the perpetrators.”

Most of the families hearing this didn't have any problem with it, as long as they got compensation. Since they had done their own research and this type of poisoning didn't have any lasting problems, it was like them getting sick for a day.

But one family was not happy at all but got enraged and demanded for Wang Ming to tell them who the suspect was. So they could get their own people to do the job, also they weren't too happy with Wang Ming's attitude. A small business like him should gravel at their feet and apologize. So a middle-aged woman who were standing by the bed of one victim stood up and said.

”Who Are you? No, don't reply. I don't care. Just tell us who the perpetrator is and we will do the rest.”

Then, laughing at Wang Ming's face obnoxiously, she followed up with.

”Relying on you? Then this would never get solved. Now go back to your little kitchen and cook some food, little puppy.”

Seeing her reaction, Wang Ming tried to explain to her that this was something he would need to investigate. Since it could implicate Weng Ping.

”I'm sorry, mam, but I can't. This is my restaurant's problem, so I will fix it. I will compensate 100 thousand yuan for everybody here, so I hope you won't pursue this anymore. But if you do, then I can tell you now that I have nothing else to give you. I will give you all a proper answer when I do find the perpetrator, but I don't want to involve many innocent people so this is the best way.”

The middle-aged woman hearing Wang Ming flat out refusing her, got even more pissed off and got closer to Wang Ming. Before launching a slap towards Wang Ming while shouting.

”Who are you calling MAM you poor piece of shit. Just gravel at my feet and listen to my commands!”

Though before the slap could hit, Wang Ming easily intercepted the slap. It had come fast and unexpected, but it was no problem for him. Even if he hadn't stopped it and let her slap him, he felt sure that it would hurt her more than him. Wang Ming understood why she reacted like this, as he were expecting all the families to act like this. That's also the reason for him not getting angry by her trying to slap him.

”Miss, don't do this, it's in a hospital even if your family member don't need rest all the others do.”
