Chapter-13: Lancelot
Without any particular event, I have reached the royal capital easily. Really, I was actually waiting for some event, that way I could test my power.
Well, whatever. Currently, I am bowing with bend down one knee. In front of me a majestic, charismatic and arrogant man was sitting on a throne. As you can guess he is the king of our nation Uther Pendragon. He is the king of Crimson Sun, a nation which came from immeasurable crimson blood which is conquered by the man who could use the flame of sun and that's how the name of our country came.
Of course, we are not alone, there are more than two people in this room.
”It's been a while, Your Majesty.”
”Lancelot huh! Never thought you will come to this point of time.”
He referred me.
”Yes, I have some important work here.”
I cut to the chase. My style isn't flattery, even toward the king.
”Important work huh! I am free an hour later. I hope our reunion can be made that time. Of course, you know why I am so busy with work these days.”
He meant the destruction of our sect. Tower of Eden was the strongest pillar of our nation. So yeah, destruction of our sect meant a big blow to this nation which is a bad headache for our king.
”Yes, I have knowledge about your worries. I will wait. Then later Your Majesty.”
”You know, you don't need to call me your majesty all the time, you can refer me as your royal grandfather.”
Yes, the king of this country is the father of my mother Elaine Tiger Pendragon. This grandfather of mine bestow me name 'Lancelot', my full name is Lancelot Jin Tiger Pendragon, people of royalty call me Lancelot JT Pendragon but I like to refer myself as Jin Tiger only.
”Your Majesty, forgive my rudeness I cannot do that here. This is the sacred place of our country.”
Yeah, the name of this place is ”Round Table” where including the king and crown prince twelve people can seat. Though there are only three people here excluding me and king I cannot call him as grandfather in front of them which will somewhat create uneasy among them. Even though I don't have the target to become Knights of Round Table like before but I still have some respect towards them.
”You are always a complicated child to understand. Well whatever, you can go now.”
Bowing toward him I left the throne room.
Even though Viscount Lister has a big background, why didn't he take us head on? Not because my father was too strong to deal with because of the king. Even though king told us that he will not interfere our political matter but that doesn't mean if something to happen his daughter and grandchildren he will keep quiet. So the king is not our backer yet strongest ally so that was the very reason Viscount Lister and his father couldn't make a big step toward us. And this is also the big reason father didn't fall into too much anxiety losing backer like Tower of Eden.
When I left the throne room a man appeared in front of me.
”Hey, been awhile.”
”Hello, uncle. How do you do?”
It is none other than Crown Prince Arthur Pendragon.
”Breathing normally now. Good grief I was too worried that you also have died with that sect. Your grandparents and aunt were too worried that I cannot help but run like a b*tch to search news about you. Inform us before you left that sect for visiting home, don't make us that worrywart.”
”Sorry, that was an unforeseen event.”
