Chapter 35 - 32 (1/2)

”Hey, wake up.” One of the contestants wakes me up.

”Huh?” I say, rubbing my eyes, trying to figure out where I am again.

”We're here.” The same contestant says.

”Oh right.” I answer, getting up and brushing any debris off myself.

We walk to where we need to be in with Netero and wait for the last Phase of the Hunter Exam to commence.

The Chairman explains to us that in order to pass we only need one win and the losers will move up the bracket until one applicant fails. This is so there are eight new Hunters.

As chairman Netero keeps on giving information, I keep staring at the match ups that were picked. I nod thoughtfully as I see that I'm not in the fighting bracket at all!

Whilst Gon and the bald Hanzo guy begin to start their fight, I move silently over to Netero and ask him why I'm not on the bracket.

”Meet me after the contestants are chosen. Your fight will happen then.” He answers back.

”Huh?” I think as I walk away and back to my place. What does he mean for my fight? Am I not fighting with one of the people here? Also, who am I fighting then?

I look over to the fight and see the Gon all battered up.

”Don't worry Leorio...this is nothing.” Gon huffs as he places his hands on his knees, trying to find a way to counter attack Hanzo's moves, however, Hanzo swipes his leg round Gon's legs which makes him fall defeatedly down to the ground.
