Chapter 23 - 20 (2/2)

They all shout out random numbers with no relation to the actual answer.

I turn around to the others and find Leorio staring at me. I quickly glance back to make sure that I'm the one he's looking at. Returning my eyes on Leorio, I see that his gaze hasn't wavered.

”Did you need something?” I ask him.

Leorio stares a little bit more before answering.

”Not really. I'm just thinking about why you look mysterious and suspicious.”

”What?” I sweatdrop. ”I don't look mysterious or suspicious. If anything, I look uninteresting.” I chuckle, nervously.

His deep gaze still seeps towards me but then he sighs.

”I give up. But don't forget...I'll find out your secret soon...”

”Haha...I'm sure you will.” I doubt he'll find out that I'm from another world, or rather dimension, unless I give the answer to him straight.

Silence filled the air and to escape from boredom, I glanced around. My eyes fell on Hisoka, just laying there, on the side of the boat (well, he was sitting but I think you know what I mean). His eyes were closed and his arms crossed as his pink hair stood on its end as always.

Hisoka is one of my least favourite characters but seeing him in reality and up close makes him look interesting as well as deadly.

I feel something tugging at my clothes and checking to see what, I find Hisoka's bungee gum and his alluring smile.

What have I done now?
