Jin walked towards where the adjutant was standing and there he saw how the monitor visualize a Letter Squad is being pushed back by multiple Sergo bravo monsters while the combat support unit has been decimated massacred to death. What the chief communication officer heard over the radio was only static buzz.
The Adjutant grips the handle bar and shouts, ”Call for an air support on that location to avoid the casualties!” the communication officer quickly goes to his monitor and contacts an air support. While the adjutant felt disappointed while looking at the vital monitor where he can see all the status of the letter squad were all full of Fallen Angel status.
”Shi- how can I explain this failure to the Director General, how stupid!” the adjutant angrily said with a furious tone while the communication officer is working to connect Home Base to Wing 4 which was the air support of any ground forces that are in immediate rescue. After the communication officer gave the coordinates to the wing 4 communication officer.
The communication officer handed it to the operation officer, which then scramble the pilots for a quick rescue and bombardment support operation for the ground force that are in danger of being a full Fallen Angels.
Within a 20 minutes, the place where the Letter Squad got deployed where then bombarded with missiles and then rescued the remaining 2 Letter Squad that were not killed by Sergo Bravo monsters. ”It's a mission failure. We lost 3 Letter Squad and a full 50 personnel for its attached support unit.” The adjutant said, then finally noticing Jin that was standing beside him.
”Are you for the Director General?” the tone of voice of the adjutant seemed to give a haggard, exhausted man trying to survive for the day of stress. ”Yes, Sir,” Jin replied confidently.
”Let me check the schedule of the Director General if he is free at this moment.” The adjutant said while looking at the monitor tablet he was holding, and upon checking the adjutant said in a calm tone of voice. ”As of the moment he is currently in a meeting with some people, but after that he is free but if you can't wait, you can tell me what you want to tell to the Director General and then I will brief him for you.”
From those words, Jin felt that the adjutant was trying to get some kind of favor from him. ”This cheeky old man trying to get my favor for something in the future, I don't feel like it” In Jin's thoughts while nodding at the adjutant, ”Could I set an appointment, sir. It will regard the two members that have returned into my unit. That is all, thank you Sir” and the adjutant nodded and turns around walking towards the elevator door.
Jin enters the elevator and goes down to the officer's floor and, while walking towards his office, he notices that there was a man standing in front of his office door. While he was slowly walking, the man turns his face to the right and saw Jin approaching.
The man smiled and waved. ”Who the heck is this person smiling at me like we know each other.” Jin thoughts as he slowly approached the door of his office.
”Hello Sir Ru Jin, I am Mao Jing Hua. I am currently the Secretary for the Seven Deadly Squad of Echo, and I am currently going to take a few minutes of your time for some discussion about us.” The man smiled at Jin, while offering for a handshake.
Jin ignored the man and walks inside the office and before he closed the door, he then said, ”I am not joining nor I am interested in what you are about to say so you may leave. Thank you.” And then he closed the door.
