”Tell me how can we reclaim that kind of humiliation in front of the mayor!” the General slammed the table in anger.Then he looked at the Head Communication officer that was standing firm beside him. ”What are you looking at aren't you supposed to contact the N.D.A.M and request further support on our full on attack on the enemy as to reclaim Jelkala!?” the general angry tone of voice.
”Sir, the N.D.A.M diplomat is still responding to our call. We should halt the advance for now and check for our resources. And then we can plan another siege when they least expected it. For now, I am sure they are expecting a retaliation for our loss. I am sure they are craving for the 1st attack we will order.”
The Head communication officer suggested and replied to the general. The General looked at the head communication officer and grabbed by the collar.
”What did I tell you!? Did I tell you to contact the N.D.A.M diplomat and not bother the strategies here. You are a lowlife communication officer and that is all we have the brains for the strategy. Am I understood?” the communication officer calmed himself and looked at the General. ”Yes, Sir” and the General let him go. Then the door opened and black officers with an intelligence logo entered the general directorate.
The general looked at the Death Squad standing in front of him. ”Who or-” and before the general finished his words, one Death Squad member decapitates the general. The General head flew across the table rolling before dropping on the floor. The whole body knelt down while the blood was like a fountain gushing out.
”According to the Decree and the direct order of the Mayor. The next line for the General rank will be the head communication officer of the General Directorate. Starting today, the Head Communication officer will be the acting General until this problem resolved. And thus the General Directorate, given a 3 months until they complete the mission of recapturing Jelkala”
The Minister of Intelligence, entered the room while saying those words. While looking at each of the staff and communication officer inside the office.
”It seems it's messy here. Please fix everything. Boys pick up the body. We are dragging that to the incineration,” the death squad replied. ”Yes, Sir” and the two deaths quad members grabbed the arms while the other 2 were at the back carrying the legs and the feet.
After the Minister of intelligence and the Death Squad left the office. All the staff and communication officers looked at the Head Communication officer.
”There is no time to waste. I want all data regarding the financial status we have, the current manpower we have. For both Purple and Black Armored knights, then followed by air support and armored tanks. Then for communication I want half of the communication officers are focusing on the contact of the N.D.A.M diplomat and the tower of Safe Zone Alpha. And then the other half will concentrate on the oversee of Jelkala from above.”
The Head communication officer ordered.
”As of now, contact the mayor. Tell him that we will cancel the attack for now, because the enemy is expecting that we are going to attack. Report that left Staff.” He said while looking at the window on the table that turned up.
With that, the day ended and the General Directorate needs to finish the planing and the resource gathering for their second wave of fight, which is larger compared to the first one that they attacked with the SQUAD.
[SQUAD BARRACKS]
After 20 minutes, all of them get geared up. They pack their bags with all the things they needed for the journey. Luckily, the military has given them an APC which then they will use to travel to Safe Zone Echo.
”We are finally heading out, boys. Say bye to your lockers because we are going to welcome the tropical breeze of desert wind.” Jin stated while looking at each of the candidates that were all geared up and ready to leave the underground base.
Jin turns around and opened the door. There they saw 2 officers of the Black Armored Knight with a monitor. And then they said, ”The new General of the General Directorate wants to re hire with this amount of money. Hope it will suffice.”
The officer said with a calm tone of voice. But Jin looked at the Black Armored Knight and replied with ”I am sorry, I am no longer interested. The last mission was the last for me and for this. group thank you very much for the offer you have given me”
After that, the 2 Black Armored Knights back off and let the group pass. ”Why did you let them pass?” the other black armored knight officer who was beside the one who offered the contract of retirement of the SQUAD for mercenary purposes.
