”Go back!” No need to send me off! ” Rick's drunken voice broke the silence of the night.

”Rick, you're drunk, you can't drive. Why don't we stay here today? It's not too late to leave tomorrow! ”

Someone kindly advised.

”I'm fine. I had a lot of alcohol, and that little bit just now didn't affect my driving at all. ” Rick quickly waved his hand.

”Sigh. Even so, safety was the most important thing! It's your flight tomorrow afternoon anyways, so it's not that big of a deal to stay here today! ”

”That's right!” Now the drunk driving is under strict investigation. If you get caught drinking a glass of beer, you will be detained for 15 days, which in turn will delay your flight tomorrow! ”

”It's nothing, it's nothing. To tell you the truth, I knew I was going to be drinking today, so I called the driver. I think this time, he should be here soon! ” Rick dealt with it calmly.

”Ah?” No wonder you drank so heartily just now. You must have already been prepared for it! ” Someone teased him.

”Hur hur. ”Is it because Rick has an appointment with a beauty that he's in such a hurry to go back?”

Just then, someone slammed the iron door and shouted, ”Is there a Mr. Rick here?” I'm here to pick him up. ”

Ah!” It's here! ” Rick waved his hand.

A security guard quickly said, ”I'll go open the door and let him in.”

Without further hesitation, Rick shook hands with the other security guards, said goodbye, and waited for the man in the driver's seat to arrive. He tossed him the keys and then went around to the other side and sat in the back.

As the car rolled away, Rick waved goodbye to the guards through the glass.

Soon, the car left the main gate, turned a corner, and sped along the wide, flat asphalt road.

An hour later, the car stopped in the basement parking lot of the Grand Hyatt.

Rick paid the driver and waited for the man to leave before hurriedly opening the trunk. He reached out his hand to help support the wide-eyed Xia Xiaoxi. ”We've escaped!”

Xia Xinxin was both emotional and sad. Tears welled up in her eyes as she held onto Rick and said softly, ”Thank you.”

Rick, too, was bitter. He said nothing, just patted her lightly on the back.

Tears ran down Xia Xinxin's face, one by one they landed on Rick's shoulders. Not long after, his clothes were all wet.

After a long time, Xia Xinxin's emotions gradually calmed down. She hastily pushed him away, wiping away her tears with her hands and said, ”I'm sorry. I couldn't hold it in any longer and your clothes are all wet! ”

”It doesn't matter.” Rick gently shook his head, reached into the car to take out a bag of clothes, pointed to her hospital gown and said, ”Your clothes are too conspicuous, quickly take them to the car to change!”

”Thank you.” Feeling moved by his meticulous actions, Xia Xinxin hugged him again and hurriedly got into the car to pick up the clothes.

When he got into the car, he realized that he had already rolled up the tailgate, making the backside extremely private. The tight space made it easy for her to change her clothes.

She neatly changed her clothes and put on a black woolen hat that he had prepared especially for her. She knocked on the door frame and asked softly, ”Where is this?”

”This is the underground parking lot of the Grand Hyatt,” he said.

Xia Xinxin nodded and asked, ”Do we need to temporarily stay here tonight?”

Rick shook his head. ”No. Just in case, we can't stay here. We need to find another hotel and a place to fix up your hospital gown. We have to stifle in the cradle all the dangerous factors that make it possible for them to find you. ”

”Yes.” I will listen to you! ” Xia Xinxin nodded.

Rick started the car and drove out of the underground parking lot. He pulled over to the side of the road near the outskirts of the city, took out her hospital gown and set it on the curb. He turned around and poured a small bottle of gasoline over the back of her clothes, then lit it with a lighter.

The fire immediately soared high, and his clothes began to blaze.

Staring at those red flames, Xia Xinxin felt as if she were in a dream. She couldn't believe that she was so lucky to be able to escape from that terrifying cage.

Hot tears gushed out of his eyes, soaking his cold face.

Beside her, Rick gently pulled her into his arms, gently comforting her, ”It's all over, it's all over. No one can hurt you anymore! ”
