Chapter 316: The Twist Concept (1/2)
The Forest Pond was one of the treasures within Elven Forest.
Though it had never lacked in abundant energy and resources, the forest couldn't protect itself from external forces.
After it had opened for everyone's use, the malicious forces patiently waited for it to close before turning their weapons at it and other elves.
The plan was simple because no one could enter it from the outside after it had closed its gates.
Henmu was the only one threat, but more and more people had begun to show off their abilities and the whole treasure land turned into a battlefield.
Various powers swept through the soil, such as an earth labyrinth and other techniques that would create their own fields.
People did it to secure land for themselves, but also to minimize threats as much as possible.
Some also wanted to just have some solo battles and Khloe belonged to such people.
Surprisingly, no one has touched the people submerged in the forest pond.
They were all left alone, slowly healing their wounds.
Xaya, whose body required a lot of care, woke up after an unknown amount of time.
A feeling of her arm made her heart flutter and she glanced at her healed body with pride, content and all other emotions that the gorgeous and prideful beauty usually would show off while speaking about herself.
Her eyes then flew to the husband's location and she found out the first obstacle!
”Who dares to separate me from my husband?”
A threat immediately escaped Xaya's lips, then she left the water. Ignoring the wet clothes sticking to her body, Xaya stomped her way towards the unknown domain until one of the trickster god's believers barred her way.
It was a man whose eyes didn't hide any appreciation for the water's magic.
”Sexy.”
He honestly commented.
Luckily for him, he was brief and just said one word. Any more and Xaya wouldn't tolerate it! She learned how to hold back and just threatened the man to step aside...
Otherwise, death would be the next course of events!
Unfortunately for Xaya this time, the man's plan was different.
He just said, ”Return to the forest pond.”
”So filth wants everyone to stay in the water?”
Xaya's eyes turned to the side.
”This red hand… I see.”
”What do you see?”
It seemed like Xaya's eyes could see more than this man knew about this red hand. Even though he had some deal like other Trickster Gods' believers with those 'people', his information was quite lacking.
Nonetheless, his question was just ignored by Xaya.
She no longer wanted to speak with this man.
He also passed enough information and her husband should pat her after passing it!
”Die, filth.”
What Xaya also could ignore was this man's power.
So what if he was stronger? He stood in her way to the husband and he also just ordered her, so Xaya couldn't care less.
She just could go all out against this man!
WIth her body becoming all battle mode, Xaya's race characteristics popped off on her body. Her wolf ears and tail increased her senses, then slim hands turned sharper and ready to cleave any opponent.
Her arms turned into Dark Knight's arms, though.
”...”
The man's eyes were monotonne just as his lack of emotion to this thrust. He just stepped to the side, and let out thrust on his own.
His weapon was his hand. To be more precise, his two fingers joined together like a pistol.
A faint energy had gathered around it already and so it was far from 'normal thrust'.
Xaya avoided that one as well, her claws answering as fast as possible.
”...”
But what she tore through was the avatar.
”Filth. This is the husband's ability. No one other than him can use this.”
”Oh, perhaps you like doing it with avatars?”
”Die!”
The idea of doing it with the husband's avatars utterly threw Xaya out of control.
She began to violently pounce at the man and more avatars had to be used from his side!
Each claw also possessed a lot of power behind it and it had left black marks that belatedly disappeared out of an air.
This man just looked down on her and the husband's married life by suggesting such a disgusting idea.
Xaya also had a similar effect on the opposite gender like her husband had to women, but her yandere aura made things different naturally.
It didn't feel weird that the man would sexually comment, but his words just broke Xaya's rules!
She summoned her cold ghost and began to work together with it against the unknown man.
But their battle was kinda one-sided.
All this time, Xaya had been the one to move a lot. She was also guided backward and she herself realized after less than half of the road separated her from forest pond.
Looking backwards a little, Xaya's eyes suddenly got filled with anger and irritation.
”Hehe… You still haven't had enough? I want to see more… of your twisted in disgust face… I want to twist you more… Hehe…”
The man became more talkative, though.
Was it because of that exchange with Xaya? Certainly so!
He soon summoned an army of avatars that stood behind him in a row. This army of avatars also used concepts that Xaya was familiar with.
This concept made those avatars take on someone else's appearance!
It was the husband's appearance! The man also took Kyoya's appearance!
”Filth… You think I can't see through it?”
Xaya's violet eyes dilated, then an unknown aura swept through the believer.
He soon tilted his head and glanced at his avatars. Of course, nothing changed and they still had the husband's looks, but what was that feeling?
He felt like Xaya's eyes could easily see through him!
”Impressive… I would say… It doesn't change… my goal… I will be the one to twist you… Hehe… This Forest Pond will heal you soon, won't it?”
He was already the one who got twisted the most.
