Chapter 151 - Alberts Secret (2/2)

”Nah, it's nothing.” Albert smiled and said, ”Your analysis is pretty much accurate.”

He even wondered whether he should tell her the truth regarding his learning ability. On the one hand, she might be able to decipher his power. On the other hand, he was afraid Shella might find Bonkey's existence.

Although it was true that he was curious about Bonkey and his creator, he didn't wish to show Bonkey to others.

[I'm just a system. You're free to tell others about me or not. After all, the only thing I can't do is to give you the functions of the system. In other words, everything inside me. As for you, you're my host. Whether you want to tell her about me or not is entirely up to your choice. Though, if I may ask, I'd rather not be known by others.]

Bonkey's statement brought a smile to Albert's face.

'Don't worry, Bonkey. You're special to me. Since you don't want others to know you, I'll just tell them that everything is related to me while making sure there's nothing related to you in the information I share. Though, Shella doesn't seem to be someone who can't keep the secret.'

Albert thought for a moment and said to Shella. ”Anyway, let's move on to the last thing I want you to know. My current ability is something that can evolve.”

”An ability that can evolve?” Shella fell silent for a moment before asking for confirmation. ”Sorry, Master. Is it truly an ability that can evolve or… is it just you who has yet to be strong enough to grasp the rest of your ability?”

”Shella, you're too smart…” Albert sighed.

”I'm sorry. I shouldn't say that.”

”It's the latter,” Albert answered her with a smile.

”I see. I have some doubts about this when Master wants me to wait for the future. Instead of speculation, you actually believe that it's something achievable. In other words, you already know the potential, it's just you haven't had enough strength to use it.”

”Anyway, those three things are the secret. I hope you don't disclose it to anyone.”

”Don't worry, Master. I shall bring this secret to my grave.” Shella nodded. ”With these three pieces of information alone, I should be able to advance my research. Like the effect of continuous bonking and other stuff. If I add the data I gathered during the past few days, I can create some advancement in this area.”

”Haha, you're too smart indeed… Anyway, that's all. I should go to sleep.”

”Yes, good night, Master.”

”Good night, Shella.”
