Chapter 40 (2/2)
After a certain player’s haphazard analysis, quite a few players thought that Liu Ming had fallen for World’s Best’s trick.
Besides, many players began to feel worried for Liu Ming due to the fact that World Guild’s reputation had always been poor.
Of course, a portion of players was also just there to watch the fun and were not concerned about which party won.
However, all these messages were temporarily unavailable to Liu Ming, who had already entered the hidden dungeon. But Liu Ming wouldn’t be affected, even if he saw them.
After all, Liu Ming was no longer just a player that simply had a Level 30 Purple Outfit.
…
The hidden dungeon that Flying Above Grass and the other two found was actually just a Level 25 Difficult Dungeon. Liu Ming managed to clear it easily.
The Lightness Skill Trio was unable to clear the dungeon previously purely because of their equipment configuration and profession configuration.
All three silly guys chose the Bandit profession, but Flying Above Grass chose to be an Assassin, Floating On Water chose to be a Godly Bandit, and Vertical Cloud Ladder chose to be a Heroic Bandit.
Of the three professions—except for Heroic Bandits, which were similar to Archer-type professions—the other two only had half the combat power when nobody was there to help fight the monsters.
In short, the trio only had the power of two players. It would be strange if they did clear a dungeon that usually required a top-tier, ten-man team without having anyone to help fight monsters.
After clearing the dungeon, Liu Ming did not rush straight to the place he and World’s Best had agreed on.
Liu Ming only rode the Purgatory Nightmare and rushed to Wind Wolf Plains after 7:30 p.m.
At this moment, Wind Wolf Plains was already crowded with players. That was not all. There was a makeshift arena in the center of Wind Wolf Plains.
In fact, there was a special official arena in God Domain’s main cities. However, a 1 VS 10 fight definitely wouldn’t be allowed in the official arena. Hence, many players would still choose to fight privately in the wild to resolve their conflicts.
However, it was the first time that an arena was built specifically for a private fight, like what World’s Best had done.
World’s Best was the leader, and the players under him were already standing in the arena.
The ten players consisted of four Mages and six players with physical professions.
The four Mages’ professions were Fire Mage, Demonic Warlock, Holy Light Priest, and Paladin—which was thought as a strange profession.
For the other six… There were two Swordsmen, a Raiding Knight, a Berserking Knight, and two Assassins.
Aside from the Holy Light Priest and the Paladin, the other eight were all violent output players.
World’s Best clearly knew that fighting Liu Ming with a team of defensive players would be meaningless. Hence, except for the two Support players that could enhance their Stats, World’s Best did not bring any Archers—which were restrained by Guardian Knights—let alone Defense Tanks.
Of course, apart from the Assassins and Mages, the remaining five would be used as Defense Tanks if they weren’t going to face Liu Ming directly.
Even the weakest of the ten players in front of Liu Ming had over 5,800 HP. It was on par with Liu Ming’s HP when he was at Level 17 and had just changed into a Purple Outfit.
Among them, the best-equipped—World’s Best—had 9,630 Health Points. World’s Best had clearly come prepared this time.
However, unlike the rumors the other players had been spreading, only seven of the ten players wore Purple Outfits. The remaining three were wearing half-Purple Outfits.
…
When Liu Ming approached the arena, World’s Best smilingly said, “Floating Cloud, you’re here!”
