215 Will the same thing happen now? (1/2)
After seeing Ashley off Linri wanted to open the door to Jamie's room then he stopped himself. Something about this situation felt very familiar.
Last time he wanted to barge in Jaime's room unannounced was during their trip to Forest of Rundabar. At the time if he did not ask for permission he would have been a victim of the lucky accident troupe.
Then here is the question; will the same thing happen now? If it will, was he going to enter without warning this time? Well, there are pros and cons to both scenarios. One he would get to enjoy Jaime's body... that was all.
As for the cons; his relationship with Jaime would get even more complicated than it already was and most importantly she would probably beat the shit out of him. There was even the slightest chance that she might use this accident as an excuse to strong-arm him to dating her.
Actually scratch the last one. Even for his standards that was too egoistic. It was borderline Rondo level narcissism. Now that he remembered it wasn't there a troupe of using people's name as verbs to define certain situations in that community college series? Maybe if he ever went too far with his ego he could call it; That's too Rondo. Ugh, doesn't sound natural so it probably wasn't going to catch on.
Anyway, knowing the possibility that he might be able to see a girl naked could he just forgo the opportunity? If he did could he even call himself a true man?
Linri was torn between the two options. Either he was going to get beaten up and see something awesome or he was going to be a gentleman and regret it. He really wanted to just barge in but he could still remember what happened with Silfy.
Whenever he tried to be a perv there was some sort of a ridiculous payoff. On the other hand, whenever he tried to be a gentleman, girls became enamoured with him. What to do? What to do?
”Hm? Big bro what are you doing here standing?” said Brie after opening the door to Jaime's room.
Behind her, Linri could see Jaime fixing her clothes. Goddammit! His hesitation cost him the opportunity. Next time he was going to debate something in his mind he made a mental note to track the time.
”Is that how you greet me after not seeing each other for a month you little brat!”
”Don't they say villains live long? So I wasn't really worried” said Brie.
”What are you doing here?”
”I brought big sis a change of clothes,” said Brie and pointed at the bag she was holding.
”Right. So did Jaime tell you anything about this event?”
”Event?”
”That's what we called the attacks on school?” said Linri. He was actually a little surprised by Brie's response.
”Nope, not a single thing” little loli shook her head.
”Why?” Linri said as he frowned. He found this a little weird. This loli standing in front of him was the reason why Jaime broke his heart in the past. So why did she change her attitude suddenly?
”I don't like hearing anything related to the future. If I know it, that would feel like it's set in stone but if I don't maybe it won't”
”... That's dumb”
”Hmph! Who cares what you think!?”
”Fine. Oh! By the way, soon Leon is going to blow up the infirmary so I would run if I were you” said Linri sarcastically.
”Yeah right”
