\”Okay, now that it's done, he should not have any thoughts of murdering this little cutie pie, right?\” said Richard after hugging Brie and lifting her off the ground. Brie struggled to get out, but Richard was not letting her go.

\”No, no sir! I wouldn't dare,\” said Tory while shaking his head furiously. He had no intention of messing with these people. Especially Richard. He was playing poker with Baal for fuck's sake. As for the white-haired dude, Tory turned to see Linri looking at him. He was smiling towards him, but then he made a cutthroat gesture. Tory shivered.

Linri, on the other hand, was kinda sad. He just wanted to break Tory mentally, but he made him stronger instead. If he did not remember it wrong, Tory did not have any abilities and Diego was talking about him getting his powers when Brie dies. He had enough points to evolve Tory, but he was just waiting for Brie to die in one of the events. Unfortunately, she never did, so Tory just stayed as an attribute character. He wondered if he gained any abilities from this deal or just a boost to his existing attributes.

\”*Ahem* Boss?\” said Lance while holding out his hand. Linri threw the card he got from that guy whose name he couldn't remember. What's up with that? Usually, he had a good memory but this was the second time he couldn't remember him. Hmm, better investigate that.

\”Password is six zeroes. I think it has 10 million Yoki on it. That should suffice, right?\”

\”Of course, boss! You can always call me when you need anything. My lady,\” said Lance and left the room after kissing Jaime's hand.

\”Oh, Hayato, before you go, can you spare me some time tomorrow? I have another project we might work on,\” said Linri to the Hayato who was leaving with all the others.

\”So, what now?\” asked Jaime. She still looked angry and looked at Tory like she was going to eat him alive.

\”Nothing, I achieved my goal. You can do whatever you want. We have nothing to do with each other, remember?\” Jaime squinted her eyes but didn't say anything. She grabbed Tory and dragged him out of the room.

\”Tory, don't forget: if you touch a hair of hers you are dead. Jaime, don't kill him, besides that you can do whatever you want,\” Linri shouted behind them. He turned back and was greeted by Mary-Ann's creepy face.

\”Jesus Christ!\” Linri yelped and jumped. That was scary as hell.

\”Who?\” she asked.

\”Nothing. Anyway, why are you still here?\” Linri asked.

\”I have nothing to do,\” said Bloody Mary and lowered her head. Damn, she looked like a sad little child. It was almost enough to make Linri forget that she was a homicidal glass demon. The keyword being almost.

\”Big Bro, save me!\” Brie yelled from Richard's embrace. Thankfully our dear old pervert here was not doing anything worth calling FBI over. He was just patting her on the head, but Brie was still struggling to escape.

Actually, now that he thought about it that looked fun. So Linri sat next to Richard and started pat Brie on the head.

\”You traitor!\” yelled Brie with tears on her eyes. She looked like she was about to cry.

Mary-Ann also decided to join them since she liked cute things. She imitated Linri and Richard patting her on the head.

Brie was about to cry for real. She even stopped struggling just sniffing her nose holding back her snot. Her antics actually made Linri remember a song about lolis and he started to murmur.

Brie's face became as red as a tomato. She was furious!

\”How dare you call me a loli!?\” she said and started to bite Richard's hand.

\”Who said the loli song was about you?... Unless you consider yourself one\” Linri donned an innocent expression. This made Brie bite even harder.

\”We had our fun, but I think I should leave now\” said Richard and let go off Brie. He was shaking his hand. This feisty little girl had some sharp teeth.

\”Wait! Can you help me with the blood?\” asked Linri. It was the first time he was going to clean up blood, so he didn't know what to do.

*Snap*

Richard snapped his finger and, for a split second, the whole room was covered in darkness. It vanished quickly afterwards and he left the room, this time through the door of course. The only people left in the room were Linri, Brie and Mary-Ann.

\”Ummm, so you are gonna stay, or...\” Linri wanted to ask her to leave but was too scared say it.

\”I have nothing to do,\” they kept on sitting awkwardly.

\”Actually I had something private to talk with Brie...\” Linri tried to hint her to leave one more time.

Mary-Ann looked left and right and turned towards Linri before speaking again.

\”There is no one here. You can go on\”

Linri had heard of denseness before but this was a first.

\”I would ask you about how you were feeling since your brother arrived, but I am too self-centred to care for that. So let's talk about me instead!\” Linri said.
